Daughter's Health
Revision on 04/19/13
Our oldest daughter told us today that she will be going in for a partial hissy within the next month. She has had a tumor in her utherus for at least 10 years, and they always told her if she wanted a second child, she should have one as soon as possible. Of course they also told her that she would have a hard time getting pregnet and/or carrying a baby to term. Anyway, more complications have come up and the time to have it removed is now. The tumor has grown to the size of a tennis ball. The one good thing, they say it is non- cancerous, but I will worry about it until we find out for sure.

OH I had the same problem, by the time that got in there the fibrod tumor was the size of a grapefruit. I had a full hystromegy....I was back to work in 2 weeks....as soon as I got out of surgery I started walking....I walked till the moon turned blue...LOL
I wish her luck, but I felt so much better when I had it done. I bleed for 2 straight years for 20 days a month...it was bad.
Good Luck,
Lynne

Lisa I am so sorry to hear that. I know how you feel. my daughter had her second baby Jan 07 and when she first wnt to she her gyn to confirm they found 2 tumors and told her she might not carry to term. She had sono's every time she went in to make sure things were alright. They also ran some test and then said the tumors were hormon producing ones and should go away. Then they were sure it could be twins (Only One) Any way one did shrink during the 9 months but the other grew to be almost soft ball size. So when the baby came they did a c-section to do a partial hissy. They was hoping to just remove the tumor but it had grown into the right ovari (sp). They were so upset after surgery the hospital came to get me to sit with her after surgery. I was with her in recovery. That rare when they let mom be there and not hubby. They told him to go view the baby! We were worried that it was cancerous but it came back non. She can still have babies just a little harder to concieve. Thats really ok she has a boy and a girl so God did bless her!!!! I will keep your daughter in my prayers that it all comes out fine for her....Just keep the faith.
