R.O.D.-No Bake SF Cheesecake
No-Bake SF Cheesecake
Crust:
crushed nuts (almonds or pecans)
1 or 2 T butter
1/4 tsp. splenda
1/4 tsp. vanilla
Mix well and PRESS into pie tin .
Filling:
2 pkg light cream cheese
1 pkg Knox Gelatin (melted in 1/2 c ho****er)
3/4 Cup Splenda
1 tsp vanilla
Mix all together.
Pour the cheese mixture on top of crust...refrigerate.
Topping:
1/2 c. Cool Whip Lite
Variation: Key lime Cheesecake
Substitute Lime SF Jello (about half the pkg melted in 1/2 c. ho****er)
You can get pretty creative with this recipe including adding Greek yogurt
or sour cream as a topping instead of the Cool Whip if you prefer the "New York: style of cheesecake.
