Dr. Rohrscheib ...Clinton, IL ...anyone?

I'm hoping for insurance coverage for the Lap Band.

Has anyone been to this dr. around here?

Thoughts? Results?

My MIL and FIL are from Rockford, my MIL owns a store there called "The Pendulum" it's in the Clocktower.

I am just going through the 6 months of insurance required waiting period before I get approved.  He or Dr. Oliphant are potentially the surgeons that I am going to go to.  My insurance requires that I go to Carle Hospital and they're the bariatric surgeons for that hospital.

I've only heard good things about both of them.

I haven't been to him.  But two people I work with have had him as the surgeon and think he is great.

Good to know that people like him!

I've met with him and he seems good and etc. I just wanted an outside view.

I'm in my last 6 month diet part and ready to put my info to the insurance people. Although I had a crappy month and have been gone on vacation for 3 weeks of it and have eaten horribly. ugh. I hate that.

I'm worried insurance won't cover it. :( I have very few comorbidities except a HUGE BMI. ugh.

We'll see.

I have a friend that was banded in clinton, she likes dr just fine.  About 10 years ago I worked at Bromenn hospital in Bloomington Illinois, Dr R was on staff there and I never knew of any complaints during that 4 years, but I worked on the Oncology floor, but you know how word gets around!!!
