Wooohoooo Eileen!!! August 11th is right around the corner! I am very happy for you! Its only been 4 months for me and what a journey this has been! How does your oldest son feel about your surgery? I know you said you have a little one, so I'm sure he has no clue about it. Thats how my 2 year old was. Congrats Eileen!!! You've made it this far and you should be very proud of yourself!!!

Hi Jill,
My son is 9 1/2 yrs old and is very supportive of this! He is excited that I will be able to do more with him, like play catch, shoot baskets and be more active. He realizes that I am also doing this for my health and I wont have to take all my diabetes meds and this will prolong my life. ( he tells me all the time he plans on having lots of kids so he needs me to be healthy to help him take care of them! LOL!!!!). I think secretly he also knows that it will make me a much happier person, which is only to his advantage. I used to love to play sports and goof around with him, I havent been able to do that for a long time and I miss it!
He knows this is a big deal but in the end it will be all worth it.
He is wise beyond his years, and also very loving. He takes all this to heart and today told me he wants me to take his teddy bear with me to keep me company and so his bear can watch over me. He can be very sweet!
Brigid is only 23 months, she will know I am gone, and will miss me, but she wont know why I am gone. I will miss her the most. I am bringing pics of them to the hospital, it will help to see them at least in pics.
Congrats on your 4 month journey! You are doing awesome!

Congratulations Jill, your weight loss is amazing, you should be so proud. Loved the pics of your girls they are absolutely beautiful. Congratulations, Pulette
Jill, that was so cool! You look so beautiful and happy--congrats on your big success. BTW, you look terrific with your hair up, but wearing it down makes you look like a frickin' supermodel!!!
