I am up and ready to tackle another day. We are driving to St. Louis for the Nationwide race tomorrow night. I am seeing my best friend from school this evening for dinner. Tomorrow, the grls and their families will join us for the race. So, today is a travel day, and no
for the weekend.
Well, our h@#$# weeks are over at work. Now I am back to two ornings a wee****il September when the maddness starts all over again. I think I can wait for that one.

Good morning Lisa and my IL family, for me today going for my second Knee injection and then getting my nails done and then stopping by walmart. then home, We have to take our camper to the shop today and get the frig fixed I got a recall letter in the mail the other day, I guess something can break and cause a fire behind the frig. boy we don't want that to happen.

Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!

Lisa, please travel safely and know that I will miss you tomorrow. Glad to hear that your schedule will be less stressing for a while.
I am working half a day today, then out to Hanover (about 2.5 hours from work) to pick up Miss Liv from camp. On the way back, we have to stop and pick up a couple of Silent Auction donations and a quick stop at the store.
Once I arrive back in Rock City, the work will really begin! We have to set up the Silent Auction, I need to get the meat ready for the grill, make the cuban beans, black bean/citrus salad and greek dip. I think I will also set the grill up so that it will be ready in the morning. that way, I can just light it right before the parade and it should be "good to go" when the parade is fininshed.
Also, right after the parade, there will be a yoga session across the street in Maggie's gardens. I would love to attend that, but we will see.....right after the parade is usually a busy time for me.
It is supposed to be cooler tomorrow so that is good. It is supposed to rain, and that is not so good. We have never been rained out (or really even rained on) for the years that my neighbor has been involved....she said that she can't remember it EVER raining on "A Day in Rock City"....but, even if it does, I have a huge porch to protect us and we can always sit inside if needed.
I'm looking forward to seeing those of you that can make it, and I'll see the Rockford Group on Monday!

Good morning Lisa and my Illinois family!
Today I'm cleaning house and doing laundry....the sealcoating of the parking lot is done...yeah!!!!.....
This week-end, I wish I could join you in Rock City...but my youngest son is moving into his own home and we are helping him. We will be empty nesters......again.......Tomorrow we are meeting some of our old neighbors for breakfast. I can't wait to see them.

Here it is Day 5 of roll call...HI EVERYONE!!! I hope you all have a great weekend.
Monday is my pre surgical apt with Dr, Wallace and Bessie from the Kane center just called me and said that Dr, Wallace wants me to see a cardiologist now. I guess when I was in the hospital for my gallbladder surgery, they did an EKG the following day, inpatient, and it came back abnormal. ( something about a possible infarct). To me, if an EKG comes back abnormal and the person in IN PATIENT, maybe something should be looked into right then. I dont know that is just my uneduacted intensive care nurse thinking. OR even last week when I was getting million dollar tests and CT scans of everything, Im sure my EKG report was already in the office, so why couldnt I have been told about this then? Well, that is just par for my course, and I guess I should be used to it by now, not getting test results in a timely or appropriate manner.
I know that there is nothing wrong with my heart, it has been worked up with every test there is....so I am going to go with the flow and see another specialist. I have an appointment on Monday after Dr. Wallace with Dr. Furiasse across from ABMC. I bet my insurance company wishes they approved the surgery alot sooner!!
