Good morning Kerry and all, I probably won't be around on the board till after the weekend , my company gets here this afternoon and we have a busy schedule ahead the next few days with family obligations. Wish me luck on keeping to my food plan and the extra stress. Have a great weekend everyone, talk to you Monday, Paulette
Good Morning Karey and the rest of Illinois!
I am working today, then a stop at the grocery store for supplies for the weekend, then home to straighten up the back porch.
I finally got my front windows washed last night! They were originally both leaded glass (only one is now, after an accident...) and have these BIG custom made storm windows over them for protection. In order to wash between them, I need help taking these big storms off. I have been trying to get this done for over a year, but could never get anyone to help. David said that he'd never heard me ask before and he would be happy to help!!! (What a difference it makes to only have one child at home....) Anyway, two hours later, the two windows are clean and sparkling!
He said the cutest thing to me in the process.......I was saying how hard it is for someone my size (5'1") to move these big panels, then to get to the top of the frames to give them a wash. He washed the top of the frames for me (he is at least 6'), and he said, "Mom, you aren't short, you're fun size!" (like a candy bar.....) I LIKE that one! I think I will use it, I like it better than, "vertically challanged".
Anyway.....things are moving right along for the festival, and I am looking forward to the weekend!
Everyone have a stellar day!

Good mornig all! Although it is almost afternoon! Today is day 4 of roll call for me.
I am so excited about my approval for surgery. I can't wait til Monday to see what Dr, Wallace says about when he can do the surgery safely after the gallbladder surgery.
As soon as I get a date, I am going to make plans for us to go away for a long weekend, which we all desparately need, before the surgery. We were supposed to go over 4th of July weekend but had to cancel because of the gallbladder surgery. Plus we haven't had much of a summer with me being sick for 3-4 weeks before the gb surgery, and now 2 weeks after. I want to spend some fun time with my kids before I get "sick" again and can't be fun again. I miss them, my son is in camp M-F 830-430 and then by the time he gets home, has dinner, shower and some free time it is bed time. my daughter has been going two houses down during the day, they have an in house daycare, and Brigid loves it there, so I only see her in the evening fora short time. Today I did not send her, I want her here with me. Plus I am feeling 100% better and ready to try to get back to "normal" life.
SO everyone have a great day! See ya all tomorrow!

Hi,
I had the surgery on Thurs July 3rd around 1pm and knew I was staying at least one night, but when the surgeon came in the next morning he told me I did not look like I should go home and did I want to stay another night? Well, that is a no brainer, of course, so I went home Sat around lunch time. It was laproscopic but they had to add some extra port sites and my gallbladder did not cooperate coming out. So all in all, I guess it went ok.

Good Morning, It seems everyone has a busy day planned. i am here at work and after a busy morning, I now have a breather.
This evening i will be packing for the weekend trip. At least I know it will be capris and tanks for the main part. No heavy jacket needed, it will be over 90 all weekend. Now if the rain bug will stay away!
My ice cream maker makes a pint. I love it also.
Hugs everyone
