Not much going on for me today...trying to take it easy after the busy week-end we had. I've got a crockpot of chili going....I know I must be nuts as it's soo hot out today...but I had a taste for chili. Besides the air is on in here. They are coming to repair the driveway entrance today and I will go and work-out at the gym tonight.

Ok Nicolle, you must know of "The Beatle Brothers" and "Instant Karma Band".

Oh sure, we used to go and see the Beatle Brothers all the time back in the day when we was young and fab (and had no kids!). In fact, my sister is the proud owner of Phil Angotti's solo album and a friend of our used to have a smidge of a crush on Jay Goeppner from that band. We still see them walking around the annual Beatlefest from time to time.

You just brought up some nice memories for me--thanks!

I grew up in Chicago.....when I was really little we lived on 35th and Halsted then moved to 33rd and Aberdeen....Bridgeport area.....
stayed there til I graduated from high school then moved to
63rd and Albany .....small world we live in.........most people I meet
lived in Chicago at one time or another.....

All the closets have been cleaned out and I am just getting ready for the garage sale on Thur and Fri.  I did not realize how many clothes I had.  Most of them are in the garage sale pile.  I am out of 18's and in 14/16's.  And I got on the scale yesterday and I couldn't believe my eye's.  I am in the 160's!!!!  169!!  In the past I would always keep the bigger clothes, because I was afraid that I would need them again some day.....not anymore!!!  I will gladly let the bigger clothes go.  I did keep some of my 3x shirts for just bumming around in the house.  I get so hot in the winter, that sweaters are way to warm for me!  I will take the kids to the pool again today and then home to do more work.  I have to exercise today because yesterday I was just to lazy. I ordered a pizza for dinner for the family and then cleaned out 2 closets and went to bed.  Stay cool today and enjoy the sun!  go and get some vit.D :)

Good morning everyone, I hope you all have plans on staying cool today. I plan on spending the day in the backyard sunning by our pool. But before I get to do that, I have to run to Walmart to find dress clothes for the kids. My cousin's wedding is Saturday and the kids need something to wear. I also have to find something for myself but I will go shopping later this week. I have read many posts about protein ice cream and I hope while I"m at walmart an ice cream maker does not jump into my cart
