Moving: HELP!

Hi all,

I'm a RNY patient that is 1 month out and I am moving to Bloomington IL in 2 weeks. I am in desperate need of a doctor and a support group that can help me along the way. I am leaving behind more resources than I can say, and this move to a much smaller community has me very, very nervous. I just can't do this on my own, so guidance is appreciated.

Hi, welcome to the illinois forum.  I'm about 2+ hours away from Bloomington, so I don't have any info on doctor or support groups in that area. You could try locating a hospital there and inquiring through their bariatric program if they have one. Hopefully some others on this forum that have been here a while can help you. I'm still fairly new and pre-op, but wanted to say welcome and please join the daily roll call so we can get to know you and you can get to know us. Everyone here is very friendly and supportive. Check with Broman Hospital or Peoria surgical group.  At Peoria surgical they practic at all hospitals here and they have their office at St. Francis. http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/PeoriaWLSHelp/
