Monday Roll Call

Well I'm up with the dawn (actually I  beat the dawn!), I'm ready to get through this week and then go to Michigan for vacation!!!  Last night something weird happened.  I fell asleep at around 10:15 and woke up at 11:30 to turn off the TV.  I was just about back to sleep when my door bell rang!  Since it took a minute to register, I didn't get to the door right away.  When I got there, whoever rang it was gone.  I looked around and didn't see anybody.  Kind of weird!  Oh well.  In other news, the party on Saturday was a success.  I didn't eat much but still managed to get a little sick.  Yesterday I bought a new lawn mower.  I didn't really need a new one, but my old one was six years old and I wanted to upgrade to a fancier model.  The new one has all kinds of bells and whistles.  Who new they came with a wet bar and a juke box!  (Okay, I'm joking).  Have a great day.

Good morning Paul and all Illinois friends!  I am just getting back into my usual weekday routine.  I am having my coffee and getting ready for work.  Although the coffee is just not doing to good this morning lol.  Have a great day everyone.

Good morning Paul and Illinois friends. I am up a half hour earlier as I change shifts at work today so have a new wake up time. Yawn. Now I just have to learn to go to bed earlier! It promises to be another hot week here. Another week inside with my AC when home. Hope everyone has a great week!

It really seemed like the weekend went fast for me.  I look really goofy at the moment.  Yesterday I stood outside for quite a few hours..... 4.5hrs propped up against my car talking to a friend and when I got home, I had a really good sunburn on one arm, 1/2 my neck and 1/2 my nose and rt face.  And huge white rings around my eyes where my sunglasses protected me.  What a dork!

Oh well, today is the start to a new improved me.  I'm trying to exercise and really watch my food intake.  My arms are still achy from my workout on Saturday with my fitness physiologist.    I need to go get in the shower so I can get this party started.  I hope everyone has a great start to a great week.

Paul, have fun with the new lawn mower.

I am running late this morning, even though I woke up on time. Got to get to work early so I can find a parking space. DH took my van today, so I am stuck with his Monte Carlo. Not a bad car to drive, except. I left some work in my van I kinda need, and not sure if I can get to it.

Good morning! I tried to get the garden pix  up last night and OH wouldn't take them. So since the board has seemed slow recently, I'll give it another try later. The garden is beautiful but only about 20 people came by. Kay said "that was a lot of work for 20 people". That would be the understatement of the year!

But we did sit outside all day yesterday and read together and talked and that was fun.
