Sunday Roll Call

In 1999 my hubby forgot to say Happy Anniversary to me or even mention it with-in a week or so,.......so I went and bought a new car and told him that it cost him 5 yrs of payments he hasn't forgot since...LOL  We needed a new car anyway so I figured that was as good of time as any!.....

Happy Anniversary Monica!!!!! Mine was Monday and after 31 yrs it doesn't matter any more if he remembers but he did!

LOL  now that would really cause problems here if I went and bought a new car!  LOL I love the idea though.  Actually I did buy myself a new digital Kodak camera off of Ebay.  does that count?

I guess the funny thing is that one of the things he told me when we got married was he was never going to forget things like this because it always caused problems with his frist wife.  He always ignored the little things....I told him that it's the little things that matter....

Guess after 7 years it doesn't anymore to him?  oh well.

It counts..LOL ...Have a great day even if he doesn't remember...I think I would get dressed up and then when he ask where ya going so I am taking myslf out to celebrate our anniversary...Just for the look on his face!

To all the men here, sorry to sound like I'm generalizing, but men are just hard-wired differently than women.  So the opposite must be true also. .  I think those things matter to him....and enjoy your camera!! 

It helps to keep the lines of communication open in a non confrontational way, that makes a world of difference.  He might need time to process things but I'm sure it helps in the long run. 

That's just my personal viewpoint from therapy and self help books.

I have no plans for today, except maybe try to go out and weed. It has to be done, but .

Kim, it doesn't matter what I eat, I still eat to fast or to much. This morning a banana wouldn't stay down.

Nancy, we still need to get together for coffee.

Yesterday I got rid of all the size 3x shorts and tanks. I decided I really couldn't wear them anymore, even around the house. So, i am down to 4 pairs of shorts, and 1/2 dozen tanks. But, thats ok, since I don't wear them away from the house anyway.

Tomorrow starts the 2nd week of H--- week at work. That should be the last of it until after Sept. 1.  Actually, t hasn't been as bad as it could be, Most of my clients are in the computer already, so that saves time on entering data. We are doing more a day that way.

Coffee sounds great. I am on a new schedule and get off at 4:30 these days. So let me know the next time you are in my neck of the woods.

I know what you mean about the clothes. I am in the same boat. I have put off getting rid of clothes because I know I wont have much left to wear but I dont wear what is too big anyway. Figure that one out.

I need to go through my spare closet and see what I can dig up in smaller sizes. I may have some things that fit. You never know!

When you are done weeding your yard, you can always come and weed mine, there are plenty of weeds and I will be glad to share them.

Nancy and Lisa are you both up in the La Salle area? I am only about 1 hr from that area when I take 40 up to 80..... So some of you are closer to me then I thought.

Karen, I am in Streator, about 30 min from LaSalle, but I am close to RT 80 (about 25 min). Any time you want to meet, let me know.

Thanks I will keep it in mind. Sometimes I do go up to exit 77 to meat up with hubby when hes passing through!
