Tuesday Roll Call

I'm up early because I can't sleep, so I thought I would start the morning roll call. I'll probably go to work early then come home early as well. At least my job permits me some flexibility in my working hours. So far I am doing very well since my second fill yesterday morning. Today I am allowed solid foods. I have to remember to take small bites and chew well. I'm anxious to see how solid food feels after my fill. I probably couldn't sleep much because I was thinking about a lot of things. I also had a headache and took some pain medication I had from my last plastic surgery. Sometimes when I take pain meds, I can't sleep. It's strange because a usual side effect is drowiness. I don't feel sleepy at all! So, I am on my way to work in a less than an hour. No special plans today other than getting some sleep when I get home! Good Morning Lucy - I hope your headache is better and you can get some much needed rest when you get home from work.  Not much going on today... Just a typical work day for me.  I will be playing "catch up" for awhile. I'm still tired.. Ugh.  I hate it when I wake up and still feel tired.  All I can think about at the moment is "I can't wait to get back home so I can go back to bed".   I hope everyone has a nice day. Christina

Good morning Christina. My headache is gone... I've had days like yours! Yep, can't wait to get home and go back to bed. I did get a lot of work done already this morning. So that makes me a happy camper. It's nice to work when it's quiet and no one is around. No phone calls or interruptions. Hope you have a quiet day and get some much needed rest this afternoon. Hi Lucy - I think I read something yesterday about your vit D level being low.  When I had my blood work done two weeks ago, my vit D level was low.  Do you take a supplement?  My butt is always dragging which when I pulled up info on the internet, that can be a symptom..   it also said it can cause depression.  Looks like we need to be out in the sun...  Please share with me what you take. Hi Christina. My doc had me take 2000 u of Vitamin D daily. I haven't been in the sun much this past year after my facelift. So I guess that is why my level was down. Now, I am just waiting for the results of my Vitamin B1 level. On my next visit to Dr. Guske, I am going to ask him if I still need to take my iron supplement since the anemia has resolved.
