Waving Flag email background  Good Morning Illinois! I have nothing on my agenda today at all! I am just going to chill. Its only going to be 77 today and for some reason as I lose weight I am getting colder!  My kids are complaining because I have chosen not to put in the window airconditioners this yr. I don't need it.  Since I am saving energy there I can feel good about taking my 200 mile trips up north off and on!    Tomorrow going to have a full day with my mom and brother. Since my stepdads death last Sept she has become very depressed so I share my time with her, my single brother, grandkids and kids. I give hubby his time when he comes home and thats very little. Maybe once every other month or so.   Every eve after 6 is all my time for ME!  Have a great Day! Karen

Hi Janet, If its the synvec(sp) it really worked in my knees. I had surgery in both knees and the cordisone shots in both and then after several weeks of thearpy we went with the synvec. It worked wonders really. I haven't had any more pain in the knees, unless I do way too much. Then I think its just basic aches and pains. So good luck I hope it works as well for you! The cheesecake sounds wonderful, I missed that R.O.D I have 2 big raspberry bushes and I nees away to use them! I will have to go back and see if I can find it! Karen

Yes Karen I think that is what it is, they give you up to 5 shots once a week, is that what you had? I sure hope it help as it has only been a little over two weeks since my cortozone shot. here is the recipe that Dawn had on the broad a few weeks ago

Raspberry Chocolate Pie

1 "Oreo" cookie pie crust

Two 8-ounce pkgs. reduced-fat cream cheese, softened

1/3 cup Splenda granular (not the packets)

1/4 cup DaVinci sugar-free Raspberry syrup

One 8-ounce container Cool Whip, thawed

1/2 cup sugar-free raspberry jam, warmed

Sugar-free dark chocolate shavings for garnish (again, if SF is available, fine, but I have used the regular Hershey's Dark as there is not enough to worry about)In a large bowl beat together cream cheese, Splenda, and syrup until smooth. Beat in 1/2 of the container of Cool Whip. Pour filling into crust. Spread warmed jam over the cream cheese mixture. Cover with protective plastic from pie crust and chill for 4 hours or overnight. Garnish with remaining Cool Whip and chocolate shavings. Makes 14 WLS servings.Per Serving: 182 Cal; 4 g Protein; 13 g Tot Fat; 15 g Carb; 0 g Fiber; 5 g Sugar; 176 mg Sodium**If you CAN find the cookies and have the time to make the crust yourself:1 1/2 cups sugar-free chocolate cookie or chocolate graham cracker crumbs1/4 cup butter, meltedPreheat oven to 350 degrees. In a small bowl combine cookie or graham crumbs with melted butter. Press into an 8 or 9 inch pie plate. Bake for 7 minutes. Set aside to cool completely.**

I use the ready made crust,
