**willow**'s Blog One of my very first posts on OH talked about my "3 wishes" if I were to lose the weight. One of them was to fit into the Batman Ride at 6 flags Great America. I did it on Monday! and Superman too. Yes, I could have done it sooner, but my grandson has been wanting so bad to go on the roller coasters since he was about 5. One of my other goals was to enjoy my grandkids and be able to have fun with them. so, I waited for him to get tall enough (54 inches) and he met that goal this month. We really had a ton of fun.

That's awesome Willow and I bet it's a day that your grandkids (which you don't look old enough to have) will always remember too!

I am taking my boys to Great America on Aug 5th (had to change the date) and I can't wait to be able to walk around all day and feel great. I don't do a lot of rides and never a roller coaster though....LOL I'm chicken

Willow, thats great! We went to Dollywood in June, and even though i used an electric chair (due to other health issues and the heat), I loved going on some of the rides and attractions. Hugs

Congrats on making your goals-aren't grandkids the best. They are our reward for letting out teen-agers live. I have a new linebacker due any day now-I can't wait. Congrats again on a super job! big hugs-Janet K

Congrats Willow! I think your grandkids are so proud of Grandma! Its a day they will remember! I laughed at the 54 inches thing last weekend when I was up there because I am only 6 inches above that myself! I just make the cut on height but now I fit in the width hummmmmmm! LOL!!!!! any way congrats! Karen

you got me beat I am only 59 inches tall!! so I barely make the cut off myself. I figure I may be only 4'11" but I got enough spirit left in me for someone who is 6 '11"
