We are here!!!!!!
Well, we have been here since Tuesday at about 645pm in downtown Dells. Believe me I have had with drawals from the internet. I tried to get into the network at our last hotel and no go; it was a tight as a drum. I need to get a Verizon air card!! 
We have been wandering around, talking, walking, not eating too much, touching base with staff we have made friends with from establishments up here, saw Lake Delton or what is left of it. I actually walked out into what was Lake Delton and picked up a rock from what used to be under the water at one time. That is a shallow lake with 15' at the deepest and it is mostly 7" elsewhere. I have a lot of pictures and some long shots of one of the houses that was on CNN when it fell into the water. It is totally amazing. We even saw the taping of the weather channel yesterday evening from a restaurant across from the Tommy Bartlet****er show. You name it. We are doing as much as possible without spending too much on gas, mostly foot power. I started running again as this is a great place to get in some hills and flat areas for both endurance and strength. Met up with some friends we are staying with at Chula. It has been great. I will be running again somemore in the next few days as they have some great paths that are used by both the golf course and for pedestrians. The mosquitos have been horrible in the morning and I have been eaten alive.
Tomorrow I will go shopping as I have a gift card from here at Chula and I will also head out to Kohl's and see what is on sale. You say - why can I not shop at home. I do not have time. There is also a water taxi from Chula to downtown Dells that I think I will take advantage of before leaving. Dave has a 8am tee time but the weather is supposed to go to "S" overnight.
I did have almost a mishap yesterday. I came in from a run and went out to our balcony over the WI river and lost my MP3 player on the roof of the bar below. It fell out of my pocket and got tangled in the railing and popped off of the earphones. We could not reach it through the railing and had to go get a couple of things to reach it. I did not spend much for it but it is the principal as to the time involved downloading the music and pictures to it and programinging the radio stations. It is a Sony so I get radio also. The one thing that worked and I got it at Wally World is a dust pan on a long handle with a small broom on a long handle. Dave had to guide me while I was on my hands and knees of the balcony to sweep it into the dust pan. It was an adventure and a time of faith for Dave to guide me because I was working blind.
Well, need to go and check the weather and also the roll calls.
