Thursday roll call

Kay and I taking off for National Women's Music Festival in Madison. This is our 15th year of going to this. Looking forward to meeting friends we only see once a year and hearing lots of great music, seeing plays and doing our workshops. 

Have a great party Saturday. We'll be there in spirit if not in reality!

Good Morning, Its a beautiful day in the neighborhood. I have "big plans" for today. Changing sheets in the bedroom,  and making dinner. Also need to go to the bank and pay real estate taxes and the really big thing is to edge my front walk. The crab grass is creeping over it.  Lynne, you only have a few more days, you are doing great! Hoping everyone has a great day! Hugs   

HIJACK!!! We just bought one of those electric edgers....I LOVE IT !!!!  Sounds funny, but I was actually arguing with the boyfriend on who was going to get to use it.  LOL !! Good morning Illinois!!! It is indeed a wonderful day. I'm feeling like my old self again - the Lucy of 2006 when I was happier and losing weight. No more diarrhea!! YAY!!! I'm all coordinated today, lapis blue top with white pants and shoes. Jewelry in all Lapis.... Plus I'm wearing one of my cute wigs today. I feel so uplifted. Today I am going to Alexian Brothers for the Healthy Lifestyles Class. Tomorrow is even better as I am going for my first fill and going to see Dr. Guske.  I sure missed him!!! I want to congratulate you on your wonderful weight loss and spirit . I'll have to see how much of a fill I will get. I'm sure it is individualized. I'm losing weight again and that makes me feel good.  I pray that Wendi is feeling better. She is in my prayers. I can't wait for Christina's get together on Saturday. I hope to meet many of you. Hey Lucy!!! Thank you for the phone call, it was a great to talk with you.  It sure did help, just so you know no surgery yesterday, as Dr. R was not comfortable with it.  So I am now home and will go in next week to see PA Katie.  She is the one I talked to on the phone to make the decision to go to the ABMC ER last week.   I am glad you are feeling better also.

Hi Wendi. I was planning on stopping by to see you since I was at ABMC today. I'm glad that I was able to talk with you.  I felt so bad for you! I know that you had to do what you need to do for YOU! Just know that we all support and love you. It does feel good to be rid of the diarrhea finally. And, tomorrow is my big day, my first fill and I did confirm that it is with Dr. Guske and not Katie. I am a bit anxious about it.. fear of the unknown but I have confidence in Dr. G. Take care, Lucy I met Katie this morning. She is such a tiny thing....

morning all!!!  hasn't this weather this week been wonderful??  i've been taking the girls out for walk after walk after walk.  =)  you gotta love being able to exhaust a toddler.  lol  my weight has been holding strong at 276.  it hasn't budged in a week, but i had this exact same thing happen immediately post op so i'm not worried.  my eating has been great and i'm not discouraged (yet) about not losing because i know that the inches are going.  i measured the 1st of this month and have been taking a couple cheater measurements to keep my mind in the right place and i'm definetly losing!  woohoo!!! today will be full of laundry and other "wonderful" cleaning.  ick!!!  i hate laundry with a passion.  not so much the act of it, but the folding and putting away.  especially when you have 3 kids under 4.  their clothes are tiny!  and they go thru so much in a couple of days, and so much fits into a load!  your folding tiny panties and socks until the end of oblivion!!!  LOL   i hope everyone has a great day today!!  enjoy the beautiful weather!

Good morning Karey and Illinois! Karey..congrats on the 39# gone! WooHoo!!! Today I must take my car in. My windshield washer fluid is not working and I filled it and it was all over the ground. I don't know if there is a whole in the container or a hose fell off. Guess I'll find out later. I also have a tire that keeps losing air. I'll have them look at that too! Going to the gym later to work out and hopefully a walk. I hope everyone has a wonderful day!
