Hi all my friends! Well, I am still residing at ABMC but I am now in the surgical ward 6 West in room 646-2.  They did another CT scan today, and tomorrow they are going to repeat the nuclear test that is quite painful.  Dr Rantis is not real happy about me pushing the issue but I am scheduled for surgery tomorrow afternoon to remove the gallbladder.  This has been a long hard stay as no one knows why I am having pain as all tests are normal.  I was not really given any options.  It seemed either send her home on drugs, or go ahead and take the gallbladder, which Dr. R is now not really wanting to do because of the test results.  So this week in the hospital has taken a toll on me and has put me in a some what depressed state.  I truly appreciate everyone's thoughts and prayers, it is great to know that you are all here for me.   I will check in again as soon as there is more information

Hi Wendi. I am so sorry to hear that you are still at ABMC. Ah, depressed state. You reminded me of when I returned to the hospital after my hernia surgery two years ago in a lot of pain and I went through a battery of tests to determine the origin of the pain. I was so depressed I wanted to be discharged. I didn't want to stay. The nurse called the doc on call, your doc and he said with a white count of over 22,000, he couldn't discharge me. I cried and cried! Then, I got better. That day must have been a turning point for me. So today just might be the turning point for you, and things will get better. I will keep you in my prayers!! I know it's hard to lie down in that hospital bed. You want to go home but want your problem and pain resolved. Know that we all care and love you Wendi! Hugs, Lucy

Hello Wendi! I am sorry to hear that you are still in pain with no clear answers.  I hope the gallbladder turns out to be the problem, or that while they are in there, they see WHAT the problem is. I wish I could get over there to visit with you, but with all of Liv's softball games and stuff, and the "Day in Rock City meeting I have tonight, I will not be able to get there any time soon.  Please know that I am thinking of you and sending more of that healing energy your way.

Tell someone that you love them!

Wendi I hope they find out what is the cause of your pain, I will keep you in my thoughs and prayers.  Get Well Soon

Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!

Oh Wendi, I am so sorry you are going through this!  It sucks I know.  I am betting it is your gallbladder. I have a friend who went through the same things for a year before they took out her gallbladder and discovered that it was very diseased without stones, so it never showed up on any of the tests.

Tell Dr R to relax, it's your body and you know what you want to do! lol  I am SO thankful now that I had mine removed 12 years ago!

hang in there sweetie!!

Wendi, you are in my thoughts. I would love to come see you, but, with the price of gas, DH would have the big one if I said I was going to EGV to visit someone. I will be there next Thursday for some tests, but I know you will be home before then.  Hugs
