Tuesday Roll Call
Good morning everyone! Sorry I haven't been around but its been 5 days of work in a row and we were at the campsite...Glad to be home and going to get into my hot tub soon! I have a bunch of things to catch up on today.
Lucy sorry to hear you are having a hard time. Dr Rantis did my surgery and I really like him a lot. Sometimes when in the ER things don't always go the way they should. Hope you feel better soon and Dr Guske can help you.
Lynne I didn't have to do a liquid diet before surgery just after and it was for full liquids for a week and I know I couldn't wait to eat real food.
Hope everyone has a great day!

Glenda, thanks for your message. I'm happy that you like Dr. R a lot. I've seen him when I was in the hospital and out of all the partners, he was the least personable and helpful to me. The experience continued with my latest episode. That's just my opinion. It is what it is.
That's the last I'm going to say on the subject.
I just want to thank you for not being critical or judgmental of my initial message here. I appreciate that.
I won't be back for some time because of being hurt by another member here.
So, others can PM me if they want to contact me.

Good morning Lynne and the rest of Illinois!
I think the liquid diet gets easier, but then again, I did not think it was too bad to begin with. I sure hope it gets better for you soon.
I had a very full, busy long weekend. We picked David up on Saturday, got him home, unpacked laundered, re-packed and back out by 5 am on Sunday.
In between, we ran into Rockford on Saturday to attend Riley's 2nd birthday. We had a great time.
For Father's day, we took Todd out for a late lunch and Ice Cream. He later went with the neighbor and his boys to Hooters for some "guy time". Liv and I stayed home and watched "Enchanted" which was a pretty good movie.
Yesterday, I took Amber and Riley up to Madison to the zoo and to Ella's Deli for her birthday. She liked seeing the animals, but would look at one, then say, "Let's keep looking...." so the zoo did not take too terribly long. Actually, the Madison zoo is the perfect size for a 2 year old. At Ella's, they have a carousel out front and inside it is FILLED with mechanical (and old) toys (to look at, not play with). After lunch Riley had her first caraousel ride, then fell asleep right away in the car. She got to jump on our neighbor's trampoline when we got back to Rock City, which she also enjoyed. I was just too pooped to drive into Rockford for support group, and I missed seeing everyone.
Today, I have to catch up on work then will probably visit my Aunt this evening.
I am thinking of everyone who needs extra prayers today, and looking forward to Saturday.
