OT-visiting

Okay I am from Ohio I will be delerving some work we done to a client in Elk Grove. Zip 60007 I believe that is close to the lakes, my kids would like to go  to a beach, and we do not want to drive far can someone give me a town/zip I can look into and get a hotel. I will be going on Sat. Thanks in advance.

Well, Elk Grove Village (EGV) is about 20-25 miles NW of downtown Chgo. I live one town south of there in Itasca 60143. There is a Hyatt Place hotel (in Itasca) and a Court Yard one town east of me and their zip is 60191 in a town called Wood Dale. I am guessing that you are trying to find hotels with the zip codes. EGV is referred to in this area, hence the letters. Schaumburg which is just a little north of EGV and my town has a few zip codes and they are 60173, 60193, 60194 and 60195.  I would recommend public transportation to get to the downtown area and beaches. It is not an easy place to drive around if you are not from this area. Parking is very expensive down there. Here is a link to a post that someone from your state posted asking for info on Chgo. That would be just as far to go from EGV to Fox Lake as to Chgo. There are a lot of lakes with public beaches up there. It is supposed to be a little cooler on Sat & Sun. In the low 80's. There is a lot of great shopping in the Schaumburg area or you could go see the Loop. There are free trolleys for everyone down there. There is a indoor water park close to Elk Grove Village.....I think it's coco keys??  Arlington Heights Hilton I beleive.....a beach??  You might need to drive downtown...
