HELP!  I know this is totally off subject but my son and I spent Sunday at the pool... we both sprayed down w/our 35 SPF .... but I got FRIED.... my legs are so swollen and red... I only worked 1/2 a day today because of the pain.... anyone have any miracle cure to help with the pain?  I've googled it and took a 15 min vinegar bath (didn't help).... I've been rubbing aloe and lanicaine on it (still hurts).... I'm not much of a pain person to begin with, but I was to the point of crying today....   If anyone has a cure, I'm listening!!! Anna

I am sorry that I don't have any miracle cures, but I wanted to let you know that if you put the aloe in the fridge for a bit before putting it on, it helps sometimes.  I have gotten fried at my son's baseball games before, but I was pre op and besides the aloe, I took anti inflamatory meds too.  Not sure if Tylenol will help though...

Thanks Monica.... tried the Aloe w/Lanicaine in the fridge earlier... but it was TOO cold (I'm so burnt that I have been getting the chills).... just downed a couple of Tylenol PMs... hope that will at least knock me out.... I am PRAYING that my legs won't be as swollen and sore tomorrow.... I am still making up time off from when I had my surgery!!!!!

I hope you get this in time!  This is an old remedy from my grandma. When I used to visit her in Florida I would alwasy get SO burnt!!! I actually got burnt last weekend and I made this tea remedy and it worked just like how I remembered.  You will need: 6-7 tea bags (or more) Boiling water iced cubes cold water   (I hope this will make sense to you)   :)  1- boil water like you are going to make hot tea.  2- place all the tea bags in a cooking pot 3- pour desired amount of ho****er in pot leaving enough room to add ice and cold water to cool it down. You do NOT wnat this hot. 4- Brew the tea for a few minutes. 5- Add lots of ice and codl water 6- Make sure the tea solution is nice and cool (even cold) 7- Soak a wash cloth or hanf towel in the tea 8- ring out the tea just a little bit (leave lt wet but not dripping) 9- Put the cold towels on your sunburn and leave it on until the cloth is warm.  10- MAKE SURE TO PUT A TOWEL UNDERNEATH because the tea may stain! 11- Repeat as many times as needed ***This will take the burn out of your sunburn! This will not cure it but only take that sting and burn out. Good luck and let me know it this works for you!!! Best wishes! Jill
