Monday Roll Call

Hi Karen, Grandchildren are wonderful! I have 4 and another on the way...that makes 5 in five years. My kids have been busy.  I bought my DH  a  t-shirt that says, "Grandpa is my name.....spoiling is my game"  I thought it would be appropriate since we will be with all the grandchildren on Father's Day! This is a first, usually we are not all together for many celebrations.

Spoiling is my DH game! Since he is a long haul truck driver and gets home about every 2 to 3 months he makes up for it when he is home! When I tell the boys no about something the oldest one whos 6 says "well call gpa he will send us the money"

Congrats on #5.. Not so sure there will be any more for us, but since I have these 3 all week long grandmas not sure she has the energy for any more. I love them but face it I am older and pooped! If not for the weight loss I know I could not help out while their  dad and mommys are working and  (MOMS)going to school.  Karen

Good morning Ladies!!  Ooh man the sun does shine once in a while on this dog's @$$!! I met this girl on this site because I had posted a message of trying to find a doctor in the Peoria region or thereabouts. Well, she wrote to it and told me of her doctor that she goes to and it happens to be A LOT closer to me than the one in Peoria....actually it is about 15minute drive now as opposed to a 2 1/2 hour drive!!  Well, since last week I had been trying to get in contact w/the Dr.'s office and was told they were in the processing of moving. I was a little down-hearted because I had been told he has been involved w/another medical group and they had already turned me down so I was for sure he'd turn me down as well because he still practices side by side w/this group. Anywho, I just got off the phone w/them to find out they will take my case on!! Woo-Hoo!! W/gas prices going up and the time wasted on travel....I may have to pay what appears a little more but in the long run it ends up being the same cost...so woo-hoo to me!!  Now if I have any problems they are practically a hop skip and a jump to go deal with. I "graduated" from some mushies to some more foods and I had tilapia fish this weekend....oh how good it tasted. I also had some salmon and tuna and no complaints and no problems eating it.  I still have restriction but this stupid head hunger is driving me insane!!  The scale did not budge this week but at least I have not gained.  I know some have said that I need to consume more so my body does not go into shock and so I can kick in my metabolism.....well, and then also begin my exercise of walking and doing the elliptical so hopefully I will start moving down the ugly scale.  I know the scale hasn't said much to me but at least I can appreciate the little things like being able to cross my legs or to shave them w/out feeling like I am going to pass out from having to spin our the shower like I am doing fat-@$$ acrobats in my shower stall....so life is good!!

Hi Chunky Munkey! Glad to hear you know have a doctor closer to home. It is wonderful not having to do fat-a$$ aerobics in the shower!

Good Morning Carol and my IL family!

Well today Tyler was supposed to start a week long Jujitsu class, kinda like karate I guess.  It was being held by a company at his school.  Unfortunately he is VERY sick still.  He's been fighting this since last Thursday. I filled his meds yesterday even though the Dr didn't think he'd need them.  I called the company this morning to see if I could get my money back for the class since Tyler's got a double ear infection and not only am I getting my money back, Tyler is getting a free 3 month scholarship to classes at this guys company!  Not sure if we'll use it though, it's all the way in Countryside. 

So besides taking care of Tyler, Jacob and I will be going out to get new work out shoes so we can start at the gym tomorrow.  Other than that..nothing planned really.
