Update on Sue (mrs. ivan)

my friend sue (has been on here a couple of times) had lap band surgery today at silver cross.  her husband called me to say that surgery went fine and she is in her room now.  she was in a lot of pain but they were just about to come in with meds.  good job sue!  she has been a nervous wreck about going under general anesethia.

Thanks for the update Karey!  I got to the gym a little early and  I stopped in to see her. She looks good, was sitting up and had already went for a walk. She was still a little queasy but doing okay. She's going to be just fine!

oh carol i  am glad you got to see her!  i was worried when i talked to her husband b/c i heard her in the background in pain from that air they put in the chest cavity (remember?)  anyway, i had a swim meet last night for riley so i couldn't go to visit.  glad she had some company and i will update more when i talk to her today. 

I didn't stay long but I think she was surprised to see me. I'm glad I stopped in to reassure her that things will get better. I reminded her of our mantra: walk, walk, walk, sip, sip, sip, rest, rest, rest. She will be fine as long as she follows the rules.
