Good morning Illinois!

I hope everyone is planning to have a good day today! Whatever we experience with the weather!

I have to do a workshop on stress reduction today at a local employer. It will be fun unless it is pouring rain at 10:30! Then it will be stressful for me!

Do something nice for yourself today!

good morning!!  hope the rain stays for you. =)  we've been insanely busy in my household this week.  my husbands sister is marrying his best friend this weekend and 2 of our girls are flowergirls.  every morning we've been heading to the church to practice since they are still quite young (4 & 2).  now its just a matter of getting last minute stuff together.  fun fun fun! diet for me has been going quite well!  i'm done with the liquids and stuff and started eating regular foods again.  i've been measuring EVERYTHING and drinking tons!  i've lost 15 lbs this past 7 days, so i'd say i'm doing alright!  its getting easier and easier every day.  now i just need to battle with myself to stay off that darned scale!!  =)   hope everyone has a great day today!!!  =)  happy hump day!

Hi Illinois, Congratulations Christie on the wedding and the weight!  Connie, hopefully the rain will hold off for you.  I'm in Chicago right now and it's very hazey out.  No sun at all! Well I was put on an inhaler yesterday after my air flow test wasn't good.  It seems to help a little, he has me use it 4 times a day, I thought that was a lot.  I didn't actually see him, I have an appointment on the 17th.  I know this sounds wierd, but I wanted to see the pulmonary doctor before my surgery to discuss my breathing, I'm very worried about the surgery. And to top off my bad experience from the night before, last night I went to a group meeting, my first one.  It was ok, not what I expected...they were very nice, but I got there early and I think this wacko got a hold of me?  She was very discouraging..it's been a year for here and she never followed the rules and didn't lose, just had her first fill the day after Mothers' Day.??  She told me I need to follow the rules, that she didn't.   Then she told me that they put a cathader in her during surgery???  I've never heard that?  There were a few people in the group that haven't lost much, but they don't excersise....and there was this one girl...Nov. was her surgery and she lost 98 lbs.  WITH NO FILL YET???  I was like wow.  The nurse there said she is a very rare case, he called it something, but she was like I'm barely ever hungry and she decided not to get a fill and it's worked for her.  But everyone raved about the doctor, I guess he has his own wing there at the hospital.  So that was nice.  I have class this Friday...hope I can get some more questioned answered there.  And Saturday are the rest of my tests!!!  Yippie....lol Have a nice day everyone, thanks for listening to me complain...LOL Lynne

Good morning Connie, Christie, Lynne & Illinois,  Well the drywallers will be at 8:30. Then we can get the next step gone in the MB. Sleeping in the guest room and looking for stuff all over the house is getting old.  I know in the end it wil be worth it but in the meantime it is a headache. Since the drywallers will be here and I have asthma I will be banished from the house when they do the staping and sanding. so I'm heading to my daughters soon. It's supposed to rain so I think the girls and I will read some books together, maybe play some of their games. The SIL has a job intv at 11. Hope that goes well for him. Luckily my daughter works from home. Yesterday we took my bike to Schwin they have to order special tires, no wonder Earl couldn;t get the ones on that he bought. I also cooked up about 14 c. of Rhubarb Strawberry sauce, made it with Splenda to cut the calories and carbs. Tastes the same as with the sugar. The splenda made it more pinky instead of red. But it tasted great! Nothing else really new here, have a great day! Paulette

Good morning Connie and Illinois! Busy morning here today...the fire dept. was here, it appears someone set off the fire alarm burning toast. Now I have to get the elevator company out here to check the elevator out. The fire dept. cannot reset it. They also believe a belt may need to be replaced. Thank God we have a service contract.  Connie, I hope that it doesn't rain while you have your workshop. Even if it rains try not to stress. Christie, I bet your children will be just fine as they walk the aisle this week-end. Congrats on the 15 pounds lost! Way to go! Lynne, you sound busy with all of your appointments. Be sure to take time to relax and refresh! Paulette, I'm well aware of how much work goes into remodeling as my husband and I have done our share of it over the years. But the results were well worth the hard work. I actually miss the satisfaction of doing things ourselves. I stopped in to visit Sue last night before I went to work out. She was feeling a little better. Now if we can get her to post more often...... I hope everyone has a wonderful day and stays dry!

Good Morning Connie and the rest of my IL family,

If it rains, then Tyler's game will probably be canceled tonight wihch would stink, since this is already a make up game...but it also means I wouldn't have to drive to Sugar Grove! LOL

Today will be very interesting, Mike is downtown for a workshop all day and it's just me and the boys.  Now I told Mike that I am not putting up with Austyn's crap anymore and boy has it gotten bad with it too.  We shall see what happens.  Austyn has already been giving me attitude and it's only 9am!

I only got about 5 hours of sleep last night because of my restless legs and it was in my right arm too.  I finally fell asleep about 2am, then woke up at 7am because of my bladder!  LOL  I will probably nap later, if the kids let me!

No other plans really today.

I hope everyone has a great day

Monica

Good morning everyone!!  I just got back from my 3 year old's annual IEP at school, then I have my post-op check-up at 1pm. I am getting my drain removed, I can't wait! lol I have been feeling wonderful. I do notice an energy loss if I don't take in enough fluids, so I am trying to keep on that. I have not yet experienced any nausea, so I am grateful for that. Congrats on your weight loss Christie!!

Good morning Connie and the rest of Illinois! Connie, it was not raining here at 10:30, so I hope it was good where you are at too.  I hope the workshop went well.  We can ALL use a little stress reduction. I am working today, as usual. Todd's car took ANOTHER DUMP last night.  THIS TIME it seems to be the starter again.  He replaced it a couple/few months ago with a used one from the junk yard.  He is supposed to call them to see if it had any kind of warranty, but probably not.  I am about ready to start a pool to see if/when he will break down and get a new car.  This is beginning to get ridiculous.  It is pretty crappy that we just put $900.00 into it a couple of weeks ago.  SOOOOOOO, I am driving us both to work and home and I kind of like getting to spend a little extra time with him, so it is not all bad. Liv's team won their softball games both last night and Monday.  Last night she played catcher for the whole game.  She is getting pretty good at it! Today is my kids' last day of school.  They should have been released for the summer about 15 minutes ago.  I am hoping that they will be accepted as volunteers at the Discovery Center Museum on their free days over the summer.  I think it will be good for them and keep them out of trouble too. Not much else happening today. I wish you all a splendiforous day!
