My band is empty

So, I am kind of bummed!  The last few weeks I have been having problems keeping stuff down so i went to the doctor and he took all my fluid out of my band.  I totally didn't want that, but that is what he said would be best.  So, I have had all the fluid out since last Thursday and I am up 6lbs.  Since I had my surgery I am down 75lbs. and have about 25lbs to goal.  I am just bummed that I gained weight.  Next week I am going back for a fill and I hope he puts me back where I was.  So, I guess I just wanted to complain and be a little bummed out.

Hang in there! Go back to eating like you did at first, weighing and measuring, writing things down, limiting to 1200 calories, drinking tons of water, and  you'll get through this. This is about life time food changes and now you will have to do this on your own till the fills start again. Check in here daily and get support!

I had the exact same problem. I was completely unfilled last week. Gained 5 pounds and have been able to now lose almost 4 of them by increasing my water. My first "empty" day. I ate like I hadn't ate in a year, literally! I get to start filling again in 2 weeks. I feel so much better now, I am glad I got unfilled. Theresa, Rockford 234/185/140
