Good morning Lucy and all my Illinois friends.  We slept in a little this am since we didn't get home till late last night. We went to Wisc. Brought back both "old" bikes.  I got my Schwinn when i was 8 I'm 52 now....so it's really old but has held up well. Needs to be cleaned up and new tires and tubes and I'll be ready to start riding. yippe!  My meals yesterdy didn't go as planned but I made out ok anyway. We stopped at McD's before we got to my mom's and I got the Asian salad.  We took Earl's sister out for dinner for her birthday last night and she wanted to go to Warsaw Inn (big trouble place for Me) However she is on Weigh****chers (although she is skinny ) and she know I'm prepping for wls  so between the 3 of us we kept me ok.   I did have 1 perogi and part of 1 blintz but otherwise salad and some roast beef. I got fruit (canteloupe) from the dessert table even though all those sweets were calling my name. I still managed to squeek under my max calories & carbs for the day. Low and behold this morning the scale says I'm 260( have to change my ticker). Today will be strict diet as I don't want yesterday to mess up the scale.  Have a great day! Paulette

Hi Paulette. Sounds like you kept on track. That's great to have friends along with you on the weight loss journey! Biking seems to be the in thing now! I never learned to ride a two wheeler so I'm out of luck at this point. Oh well.. Have a wonderful day. Lucy

Good Morning Lucy and the rest of my OH family.

Lucy, sounds like you are getting back to being your busy self, I love hearing that!

Yesterday I went to Tyler's baseball game from 12-2:30pm in which they got slaughtered and I got sunburned on my arms....Came home changed clothes and then left for the Schaumburg Flyers game.  We had a good time and it was so nice seeing Chris, Dave and Michelle there.  Everyone else that I didn't know was so nice as well.  We'd never been to a Flyers game before and they sure make them fun.
When we got home I was very tired.  I decided that it was time to sleep back in my waterbed...well that won't be happening again for a while.  Today my back is killing me so bad.  I slept terrible and I guess I'll be back on the couch tonight.  Mike is so set on keeping the waterbed and I have always hated it.  (It came with him when we got married)  maybe he'll change his mind if he ever wants me to sleep with him again.

Today I am going to try and plant some flowers and do some things outside.  We'll see how bad my back gets.  I am going to take some Tylenol before heading out.  The boys will be home later tonight, they are at the zoo today with their dad and his family.

I hope everyone has a nice day and puts on sunscreen if you go outside!!

Hi Monica. Sounds like you had a full day yesterday. Baseball is not  my thing so I didn't want to go. I never slept in a waterbed so I don't know if I would hate it. If your back hurts, why are you going to do some planting??? Hope your back feels better soon. Yes, I am relatively busy all the time.... but I can't wait to get my first fill. I sure do need it. Lucy

Lucy, I actually did some stretches and took 1/2 dose of Tylenol and then did a little bit of planting, not much and right now my back is feeling better actually.  Maybe it just needed stretching or something.  I didn't stay out too long though because I could feel myself getting dehydrated, even though I had my water bottle with me.  I also have sunburn on my arms and I know that dehydrated you too, so I don't want to over do it.

I have a very full day. First I am mulching my garden, cabbage plants look wonderfull this yr! My seeds are coming up now so I can mulch. Then I am going to spend a couple hrs working on getting the pool ready. Then at 5 going to a t-ball game. I might find time to eat somewhere in there!   I tried on my swimsuit today and well I think its time for a new one. I have had this one for a few yrs and I did not like how it fit when I was 77 pounds heavier and I don't like it any better now!  I also went through my summer tub of clothes, and I found all the summer things I bought in Oct and Nov on clearence that were all like large to xlarge so I don't have to spend a lot this yr on clothes that fit. I bought a couple of simple summer dresses and they even fit. I still have a tummy because of the excess skin and flab but maybe someday after I am at my final goal and stay there for awhile I'll check into plastic. I will need a second job to pay for it but it will happen.

Have a great SUNNY day and make the best of it.... because its suppose to RAIN  tomorrow! Thank you Lucy for your kind words. I don't think the excess skin is all that attractive but, I am am working with it. I have already done more this spring and summer isn't even here! Losing 77 pounds does make a difference to your way of LIFE!

I did have a full day yesterday and I did finally eat at 10 pm. I snacked on crackers, and had a 4 oz cup of milk before.

After t-ball had to go to my moms and mow. She called and said it needed to be done and I do not have time this week to spare. I am coming up to see Dr R and then attend support group and this is Thursday. I decided to try and stay up that way until Sat. I want to see if there are any different preniannuals then I already have. So I could come back with a car full of plants.

I am living outside this summer! So I am making my yard a nice place to just chill in....

Christine if I lived in town it would be classified as watching the fords go by. Out here its more like watching to see who has the biggest tractor go by!!  LOL
