Christine sounds like a calm weekend for you enjoy it, Paul congrat on the 4 lb lost, I know it feels so good, and Happy Birthday tomorrow, Paul have a safe trip this week, Lisa you too have a safe trip to TN.  Glenda I too hate to exercise , I guess that is why we got fat in the first place right? Lynne you surgery will be here before you know it, Connie drive safe and have a good trip too. Michelle sorry to hear about your mom, enjoy the time you have with her, Carol have a safe trip too  Denise that is good new about your dad, I will keep him in my thoughts and prayers that the cat scan does not show any more cancer. Monica sounds like you have a busy day  too, and For me we are going out to my fav. mexican rest tonight for my birthday dinner. Hope every has a great day.

Good morning Christine and the rest of Illinois! I hate the coffee grounds thing too, but then again, who LIKES it???  Glad the second pot came out better. I am working today and hoping that we do not get any hail as it will hurt our cars and my plants. I got a piece of good news this morning!  My mother-in-law was diagnosed with Celiac Disease over the winter so I had my kids tested last week at their yearly physicals.  BOTH kids are negative!!!!!  Yipeeeee!  I was a bit worried because Liv always seems to be complaining about her stomach hurting and David has lots of strange symptoms.  I had read that many people go undiagnosed for Celiac for years having other strange sysmptoms that don't seem to relate to each other and that's my boy!  Now......if we can just get Todd tested, we will be set. Everyone who is traveling, please do so safely and have a great time! All the newbies.......sip,sip,sip, walk, walk, walk, rest, rest, rest. I am praying for those who have health challenges or family that are facing challenges.  An aunt of mine who lives in Libertyville was also diagnosed with lung cancer a couple of weeks ago.  Hers has not spread and the doctor said that it is very treatable so I can sympathize with what Denise is going through.  This Aunt raised me for a time after my mother died. I think of you all daily and keep you close to my heart! Have a spectacular day despite the icky weather.  Some day, it WILL be nice........

Hi my friends! It may be rainy out, but in my basement office with no windows it's sunny and 80! (very good imagination!). My unfill of the band has been torture and a blessing. I can eat again! And eat. And eat. And eat. But today I am starting anew. I hope everyone has a great weekend! Theresa, Rockford

I had a real bad bladder infection, which is better! Now I am fighting a bad chest cold! Hello everyone. It was pretty sunny and dry here in Mascoutah but now we have a Tornado watch in effect...nothing so far happening. Well, as I posted, I am just extremely nervous and going back and forth on my decision to proceed with the surgery. Of course, I would NEVER dare cancel the appoint for surgery on Friday but I am feeling extreme panic! I can't even think of anything else. I apologize for being selfish and not sharing much but I can't think--really I can't. I do wish everyone the best in the endeavors and activities. I will be spending as much time as possible with my family and loving on my beautiful boys (check my profile pics to see their adorable pictures posted in the album.) Well, I will go now and try to stop worrying (not going to happen til AFTER surgery I'm sure.) Good luck Cherie
