Friday Roll Call
Good Morning IL Family,
Chris, are you and Dave going to the Flyers game tomorrow evening?? Mike and I will be there. I hope the weather is nice for that.
Today I am driving the kids to their last full day of school because Jacob had to bring in some drinks for their party and I didn't want him taking them on an over crowded bus. Then I will run to Lowe's and get some potting soil. I want to try and get a few pots of flowers planted before the rain comes. They shouldn't get damaged though because they are kinda on our front covered porch.
Tonight is Tyler's first ever formal dance and I can't wait to see him all decked out. I will get pictures. he's really turning into a fine young man. He's got a party afterwards and that kinda stinks because he will need to be picked up at Midnight:30 (that's what the invite says..lol)
It's not far but I am usually not up that late! Kinda inconsiderate of the parents I think to make it that late. oh well
Well I gotta run so the kids aren't late! Have a great and safe day today

You know Paulette, You can make the lasagna with zucchini thinly sliced instead of noodles.
The last time I made it for the family, I used noodles for their half of the pan and zucchini sliced lengthwise, really thin, for my half of the pan. It was really good and my kids even liked it! Just an idea......

I don't know why i didn't think of this! I have made lasagna substituting the zucchini for the meat before, makes sense it would work for the pasta too. This is what I love about this board somone always has an idea to adjust a situation. Earl will be happy cause he gets his lasagna, and we can eat the same meal together. he loves zucchini too. Thanks, Paulette
