Good morning everyone. Hope your day is going better so far than mine. I just had to make another pot of coffee as the filter collapsed on the first one and there were grounds in the brew, man I hate when that happens. AWWWW, the second one is better!
Looks like we in the Chgo area are going to get some weather today. That is good in one sense then I do not have to water the flowers. weather.com says strong storms with possible hail. Looks like I will ride my bike anyways because I do not want my car sitting out in hail, even if it is a beater '93 Cavalier, it is bought and paid for.
What is all going on in your world today and into the weekend? We do not have much going on finally a weekend that I can catch up around the house and put it back together after the painting. I have all the pictures to put back up and that is a job 'n half.
Need to get moving.

Good Morning All! I'm on my way to the doctor's this morning for my monthly check-in. I weighed myself and sure enough, I'm down another 4 pounds since last week. I'll do the official weight at the doc's. Tomorrow is my birthday, so I'm looking forward to that one. Tonight, my wife and I are going out to see a movie to celebrate. Thanks to all of you who have been sending wishes all week! Then Monday starts three weeks of travel. First Boston (work), then Phoenix (work), then down to Tucsan (vacation) where Liz and Meredith will meet up with me. Then home for my first fill! The pool is coming along and I'm hoping that it will be ready for our return from vacation. Have a great weekend everybody!

Good Morning. Of course the weather will turn bad today, I have to go to our home office in Rock Falls for a meeting. I think, as of the this past year, everytime I go its either rain, snow or storms.
We are all packed to leave for Tn. tomorrow. I am sure we forgot to put something in, but if we did, we will get it there. I did go and fill up the van with gas last night. It cost me $75.00 even! That was for just less of 20 gallons.
Paul, be careful on your trips coming up.
Christine, I hate when the filter collasps too. I want to get a bike to ride also, but I want the old fashion kind, with coaster brakes. I don't care for hand brakes.

Good morning everyone!
I actually THOUGHT about going for a walk this am and realized the rain had hit. I really hope there isn't any hail because we had it up north this weekend the brand new trailer has about 5000 dol of hail damage. Luckily no one got hurt as we were all outside when it hit. I have never seen golf ball size hail up close and it had spikes on it. My bf's truck also had some damage and it is outside today because it is too big to fit in the garage. And the trailer is outside in storage..oh well nothing to be done about it...
I need to get exercising to get the weight loss moving again....I do have a membership at Fitness 19 so there is no excuse...argh....
I work all weekend so not much happening for me.

I hope everyone has safe travels.....I'm in Chicago, and it's dark but not raining yet. I'm hoping to get my stuff done so I can work from home later.....I work for a place that is good about that.
Nothing new for me, just studying up on my upcoming surgery. I'm still nervous, but this website has been GREAT!
And I started school 3 weeks ago, to get my mind off of FOOD! Some days it works, some days it DON'T !!! LOL

As predicted it has been a hectic month. I haven't been on here for 3 weeks or so. I made it down to Tn for a week. It was beautiful. I have to admit that I did enjoy my getaway, although I had to take my mom to the hospital while I was down there. She was severly dehydrated and demensia has set it. I do believe that we are in our last year with my mom and she is only 73.
Well, my baby is officially a graduate. Last night was Nicoles graduation and it was beautiful. Tears welled up during pompse and cir****tance (sp), but they overflowed during their song to the parents. I can't believe how fast 18 years can go by.
Its work for me followed by my nephews graduation tonight. Tomorrow I am looking forward to the Alexian Brothers ballgame. I hope to see all of you Kane Center patients there.
Chris I believe I will see you and Dave tomorrow at the game. Paul great job on that weight loss so far. How is Lucy doing? I haven't even read any posts this month, so I'm behind on everyone. Have a great weekend everyone.
