hi all!  i'm new to all this so bear with me! =)  this is day 1 of the 5 day pouch test.  i'm 1/2 thru and getting a bit hungry.  i'm thinking a protein drink is about in order right now. =)  so far so good tho!  trying to take everything in teeny increments so that i don't get overwhelmed.  having to remember that i didn't gain overnight so i won't lose overnight is a hard one as well.  lol  i'm really hoping this will get easier to be back on track once completing these 5 days.  has anyone else done this with success?  (the pouch test that is...)  =)

Good afternoon Paul and the rest of my Illinois friends! I have stopped in a couple of times, but got too busy to post.  That's what I get for posting from work, I guess. Well.......the BIG news in my house is that I took David for his Driver's Permit last night!  I also got him an ID card while we were there and he is ON TOP OF THE WORLD!!!!  Talk about milestones for baby boys........it seems like he was just a little boy not very long ago.  Actually, when I look at pictures from even a year or so ago, I see a BIG difference.  He is my only boy and I have an extra special soft spot for him.  I even let him drive me home from the edge of Freeport, and let me tell you......I KNEW there was a reason that I made Todd in charge of driving instruction! Paul, Lisa is right, almost every day, something will happen to make you go mmmmmmmmm!  Have a great time at dinner enjoying the company instead of focusing on the food. Tonight, I have a short meeting for the marching band's summer show.  Even though we do not have enough kids to march, we will still host the show in Dakota as we have for the past 35 years.  The only problem is going to be getting enough volunteers to help. Sorry.....phones are going crazy.....gotta go!

Tell someone that you love them!

Hi Everyone ! It turned out to be a really nice day - lots of sunshine here in the NW burbs. I have just been taking it easy and enjoying the peace I have at home before school is out for the summer. I took the vaccum out yesterday and I am still walking right past it, but I have to get to it before the kids get home ! We have a softball game tonight and then I am working the night shift ! UUghhh !!!! They just installed 24/hr a day video cameras at my job and it is just a very weird feeling ... to be watched constantly, VERY uncomfortable for me. Today is Jessicas surgery. Please keep her in your thoughts and send good vibes her way ! Have a great evening !             Amy

Hello all. So I am now about 8 days out- 15 pounds down. I still can't move like I would like to, sleeping is still giving me problems. But I'm working on a day at a time. Tomorrow I will try to get out of my apartment and get some fresh air. WOW.. so this is what this feels like. I think once I'm on real food- I'll be happier. YAY for the start to a new life.
