Good afternoon everyone. Dave and I just got home from the parade, seeing the Vietnam Moving Wall at the Schaumburg Flyers Field and then some errands. I have the last of my flowers to get in and to transplant a tomato plant that my sister brought me a few weeks ago and I also have the tail end of my flowers to plant. After I am done with that in a couple hours Dave and I will BBQ some meat and have some for lunch leftovers next week. Have a safe holiday everyone.  & Christine

Happy Memorial Day to all - It's been a quiet weekend for the most part.  I did get my vegetable garden in which is a first for me.  I usually do a couple five gallon buckets and call it my garden but this year it's in the ground and I can't wait to see how it turns out. I have to work tonight at Bakers which really stinks so I'm just putsing around because I don't want to get tired, sweaty/yucky before I go to work.  I know, I know.. a shower will take care of that. . I've been doing a lot of thinking about our upcoming get together and can't wait.  It should be a great time for all. Christina

Happy Memorial Day everyone! I'm nine days out from my DS and each day gets a little better. Today I am still with my daughter in San Francisco and we're having a quiet day relaxing and doing origami. Later a nice walk. Since I don't get to spend much time with my daughter (I live in Chicago) this is my idea of a holiday with family. Yay! Memorial Day for me now says goodbye to my old body with respect and embraces the new possibilities with joy.

hi LISA!  Hello EVERYONE! Well, I've been doing things I've wanted to do for a while, but just haven't had the time ... like clean out my 2 junk drawers (now they are clean, but the rest of my living room is suffering from the junk disease ... I need to find a way to part with this stuff -- without it ending up back in the junk drawers); I sent a note to Bayer, telling them how upset I am that they bought the Citracal brand products from Mission Pharmacal, but NOT the Creamy Bites (nor is Mission making them); and I really should be getting my veggies into my garden, cut the grass, etc.  BUT, since I'm not working (yet), I guess there's always "tomorrow" ... sigh. Best to all ...
