Marilyn keep you chin out and take everyone's advice, get out and enjoy the sun, that always seems to perk me up. My brother is a chef, so he's having a party on Sunday.  It's nice to have a brother as a chef, he takes all the holidays  .  But it is also a bad think, we eat too much.  So after I have my surgery, I'm really going to have the willpower to pass up too much of a good meal. Sometimes I feel like I'm eating my last meals before surgery, did anyone else feel that way? Have a good day everyone! Lynne

Dear Lynne: That is called "last supper syndrome" and many of us go through it. I went through it when I first started working on getting surgery and gained 25 pounds!  It took me almost two years, and I lost most of that in the last 6 months. Be assured that after your surgery is completely healed, there will be no foods that you will "never" be allowed to eat again.  You should be able to have most everything, just in very limited amounts.  There may be some things that you CHOOSE never to eat again, but that is not the same as being deprived. You will do well, because you have all of us here for support!

Good Morning IL family.

The sun is shining, the mama bird that built her nest right over my front door was singing...it's going to be a good day, I hope!

Marilyn, please try and get out in the sun today, that might help a little.  I too battle from depression and decided yesterday that I need to start my Lexapro again.  That might help me with everything that is going on around my house too.  Hang in there sweetie and if you need/want to talk just PM me!  Love and great big hugs to you!

I am kinda sore today, but hopefully that will start to go away as the day goes on.  Austyn has an end of the year "show" they are doing at school tonight and it all depends on how I feel if I go or not.

Other than taking it easy again today, I have no plans.  I am thinking positive on the results, though I have to wait til tomorrow sometime to get them.

Have a wonderful day everyone!  Enjoy the sunshine.

Monica

Good monrning Marilyn and the rest of Illinois! Marilyn, it looks like you HAVE to go outside today and enjoy the sunshine, everyone agrees!  Getting help with the depression is also a good idea......some things just need more than you can do on your own.  I DO hope you feel better soon as you are a wonderful and beautiful soul. I am working today and I have a pot roast in the oven for dinner. I just made a minute muffin and added a packet of sugar free spiced apple cider and it was pretty good!  A little bit of chopped apple would have been perfect! We have two graduation parties (one Saturday and one Sunday) and David and his friends are going to an outdoor concert on Sunday.  We are thinking of going to Madison on Monday since we did not get to take the kids up there to use their Flat Top Grill birthday coupons yet.  While there, we will go to this really cool mini-putt. Has anyone heard from Christina?  Is she still thinking of having a get-together? I am keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers daily.

Good morning IL~

I am off to the park w/ the kids.  If I don't get outside, I will stay in my pj's all day.  Tonight I have soccer practice and have to work on the graduation video and present for the teacher.

I had my 2 month appt w/ Dr.Wallace yesterday and I have lost 26 pounds.  I really wanted a fill, but he said I am 1/2 to goal(his goal or what the band is supposed to do) and he wants to see if I can loose any more weight w/ what I have in.  I am okay w/ that, because I feel I am doing good.  He said I am ahead of the game and will be at MY goal with in 12-24 months.  I would love to be 115-120.  His goal is 140.  Well...say goodbye to the 200's and the 190's and 180's...I'm now in the 170's!!!!  I love this band!!!!

Thank you Pam for the jeans!!!  I don't know about a size 10, but I can always dream!!!  I had a really good time at the support meeting on Monday!  It was so nice to see everyone.  Janice, I think it is awesome that your husband is so supportive.  He is a doll!!!  Better get going.  The kids are ready to go!

Kim
