Tuesday Roll Call

Good Morning All You Lovely People!  Not much going on today.  Just work and then the fishing derby for Nic this evening.  One of the other cubscout leaders lives on a lake and all the boys are getting together for some fishing fun.  I sure hope Nic catches a fish!  Last year I took him to a trout farm and he caught 6!  I'm trying to avoid the scale, but it's hard.  My caloric intake is so small that I know I will loose weight, but like everybody else, I want it now.  I see my general doctor a week from friday, and I think I will try to not weight in until then.  Have a great day!  Paul

Good morning. Paul, you will start to loose again soon after your body discovers that it can live on the limited calories it is getting. It is a matter of physiology and it feels that it is being starved. Up a little early today. I fell asleep at about 8pm last night and slept the whole night. We were both so tired from all of the walking over the weekend. I have not downloaded the pictures yet but will soon as I need to send a couple off to my boss because he is a big Covair fan and there were two of them at the show. Will be getting ready for work here in a short while. I need to get a couple of things done before leaving. Tomorrow we are having the painter come to do the living room and hallway. I still need to get a bunch of things off of the wall and the curtains taken down. Chris

Good morning Paul, Chris and Pam. Not much going on with me today.  I have to go to the bank for a cashier's check to pay for my other speeding ticket I got in Indiana, so that I don't get it on the books.  I got a call from Willow last night and she gave me a lot of good advice. I will be thinking about what she said. It all made sense. Paul, I'm happy that you are having a good time with your family. I'm in the same boat as you, I want those pounds to melt off of me! I get weighed on Thursday, as it is my first visit after my surgery. Chris, I know what you are going through as I had my house painted and the carpets cleaned... It's so worth it in the end. I'm enjoying the fruits of my labors now. The pain is about the same on the left side. I'm still swollen and it hurts. I am taking my Lortab. Next week at this time, I'll be back at work. I sure hope it gets better by then. Hope everyone has a wonderful day. Hugs, Lucy

Good Morning Paul, Chris and Lucy.
there are 2 roll calls going today so I figured I'd post in both...lol

Today I take Jacob back to the Dr because he's still not right.  He's got something wrong with his stomach and I am going to demand more tests for him. He's miserable and he's making me miserable.  lol  I have a couple of other errands to run and I hope the rain holds off for a while.

Tyler has a ball game tonight, if it doesn't rain, otherwise it's just relax and do nothing tonight.

Tomorrow is my big day for my biopsy and I am very nervous about the pain during and after. They promised me I wouldn't feel anything during and if I did to let them know and they will numb me more.  I am so tired of having pain I just want it all to be over already.

Paul, it sounds like you guys have so much fun with the kids and I love the new picture too!

Chris, I bet you guys were tired, I get tired just reading about what you and Dave do! lol

Lucy, I hope your pain gets better and that you start to feel better, but isn't Lortab the best??  LOL

Have a wonderful day everyone!

Monica

Good morning to all my new friends! I am so thankful to have found a group of people that are going through the same things I am.  Yesterday I walked to my  daughters house about 1 mile away (of course I had to stop twice and sit in the bleachers for 10 minutes before I could go the other half of the way) Then my 2 granddaughtrers and I walked back here, (stopped at the school playground so they could play while Nana cought her breath again). But I surprised them both when  I went on the swings. neither one thought I could remember how to swing. It was a blast. I'll have to get in touch with my inner child more often. I have physical therapy today so my therapist will be surprised I walked so far also. Up till now I've only been able to walk about 2-3 blocks at a time.  I am also on a low calorie low carb diet and the weight loss is basically stuck since March. Hopefuly I can get some exercise to rev up my metabolism, without hurting my back anymore, and start to lose again. Have a great day! Paulette
