As you know it's Jacob's birthday tomorrow and this will be the 1st time in 5 yrs that we've actually gone to dinner ON his birthday.   His choice??  Olive Garden....

Help..I need ideas for food.  I am just about ending the soft stage of food and everything sits well except any type of beef....

Thanks!

Monica

Go to their web site and browse around and see what they have.   I'm pretty sure that they have shrimp of some sort. I am not really familiar with their menu as I've only been there once, but I had to answer so that my little avatars were all in a line........

You crack me up.

Yes I looked at their menu and the problem I have is that a lot of things are in a cream sauce.  I think I will stick with their soup and maybe nibble off of Mike's plate or one of the kids...lol

I have heard that they have good soup.  If you like the Zuppa Tuscona, I have a WLS friendly recipe........

Is that the one with the ground beef?  if so, I can't tolerate beef.  I'm not sure if that will change or not, but now...NO WAY..lol

post the recipe anyway though! lol

Monica yeap their menu is kind of CACA for a PO. They have all of their foods prepared and sealed in plastic bags and then they plop them in a skillet to warm up. This restaurant doesn't make anything from scratch except the salad. We have friends in the food industry and word gets around about how other places make their food. It is called "plastic food" because it is sent to the restaurant in plastic bags. That is how they stay consistent across the board at their restaurants with the qualitity (if you can call it that). You would be hard pressed for them to deviate from how they prepare a dish (sans sauce). Chris

My mom told me that I should pack a "lunchbox" like kids do for school and bring something I can eat.  They will make enough money on the rest of the gang...LOL
