Surgery Date

I just got my surgery date, June 23, 2008, and now I'm scared to death! Worried I won't be able to do it, scared about surgery, the tests, EVERYTHING....is this normal? I need friends to help me through this.......LOL I live in Palos Heights.... Lynne Lap Band Surgery Date 6/23/08

Yes it is normal to feel this way. I think most of us will agree that we were anxious before. Take a deep breath and relax.

Hi Lynne, I think it is very common to start to panic about surgery. I believe it has to do with the fear of the unknown. Continue to read posts here and on the lapband board to learn all you can. Just remember that each doctor's guidelines are different. What is allowed for me may not be allowed by your doc. Join our morning roll call and keep us informed of your progress.
