Thanks to Everyone for the support. I had my surgery on April10th and I'm doing well. I can't eat meat of any kind yet, but I'm working on it. I am still on the soft foods and toddler foods. I also cannot drink water. It is too painful. The Dr. says its normal lots of people are having the same problem. they don't know why but eventually it will get better. I eat slushies or ice chips. There are always ways to overcome the obstacles. I am officially back to work tomorrow(whoo Hoo). I was tired of sitting at home and not being able to do anything. This site has been a godsend. There are so many wonderful people out here and everyday I thank God for all of you. May God Bless you and keep you safe and on the losing road. Thank you again.  Love Jeaniene

I am so glad that you are home and recovering well.
I have the same problem with water and can't drink it plain, have to flavor it.
Keep in touch!

Monica

Glad to hear your home and doing a little better.  I found that if I start the day with warm tea, it clears the path for other liquids the rest of the day.  I couldn't even handle ice chips when I started!  Now I'm doing 64 ounces easily.  The tea was amazing.  I hope this helps.  Paul

Thanks for all the well wishes. Paul I'm going to try the tea thing. Hopefully it will work. Last night I tried baked fish and it was a no go. My Dr. seems to think I should be eating solids by now. My dietician thinks otherwise. Either way I cannot keep fish, chicken or beef down along with some vegetables. I am so tired of throwing up. I think I will just stick to the safe foods for awhile.(give my stomach a rest.) Applesauce and cottage cheese suite me just fine along with refried(no fat) beans. Every day seems like a trial and error. Does anyone have Morning sickness???Does it ever go away??? How am I suppose to eat if I'm always sick? Ayn suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a million. Jeaniene
