Looking for a new PCP - North Burbs
My PCP has left her practice is switching to concierge medicine. She no longer works with insurance companies and that paperwork falss on the patient. I'm 2+ years postop and am one of the leaders of the PacLap Chicago DS support group so I don't need a lot of WLS support, but I want a PCP who is WLS cognizant. I need someone who will recognize when something might be related to WLS and when it isn't. They will also need to prescribe my annual blood work and send a copy to my surgeon. I live in Northbrook so any recommendations in this part of town would be appreciated.

PS. Someone who knows that DS and RNY are different surgeries with different postop diets and supplements would be appreciated, bit I can try and train someone.

My surgeon is in San Francisco and the PCP he works with locally is my old PCP. I can try to ask via the local DS surgeons, but they are at U of C which is South.
