Thursday Roll Call

I just got back from the Centegra Hospital (great folks!).  It seems I have a bladder infection!  The gave my a couple of litters of IV stuff so that will help with the liquids.  I'll need to take an antibiotic for a few days, but I'm doing okay.  I'm using the heating pad on my chest which is why I'm up so early.  The good news is that I'm not real dehydrated after all.  It's always something!  Have a great Thursday!  Paul

Paul, sorry to hear about the UTI. Hopefully, it is just a minor set back and you get over it quickly. I am just about ready to start my day. Shortly here I will get cleaned up and have the rest of my things organized and ready to go. Mary, myself and Grace her grand daughter will head out at about 830 for Urbana. The one thing I am worried about is that we are trailing her boat w/o plates. That is a traffic stop waiting to happen. She just transferred title on the boat and has the bill of sale. Oh well we will see.  Need to get moving. Christine

Yes..that is a traffic stop waiting to happen....but if she has the bill of sale, it should be no problem.  I work for MECUM car aution and that happens all the time!  Have fun at graduation.  My neighbor just graduated from there 3 weeks ago and he is now working for Algonquin.  Small world.  Did you hear about our chief???  He is not doing good at all. He's in ICU and is now on the rotobed like my dad.  It's not looking good!

Good morning Paul and the rest of IL, Sorry to hear you have a bladder Infection, but good you are not dehydrated, I hope you get to feeling better soon. Today is Amanda's ( lippy81) birthday. Happy birthday Amanda For me I have my dr. App. for my 6 month's check up I will also get the result's of my labs. I hope everything is ok with them. I have an early meeting this morning at work. I knit during these meetings so I get a lot done. Had a two hour one yesterday! Also we had a program yesterday on Colors where you hear a presentation and take a short test and find out what "color you are. It probably is similar to the Myers-Briggs. If you have a chance to do this, it was fun and I think as more folks do this at our workplace, it will be easier to understand one another. that's the ultimate purpose. Of course, I love this kind of stuff!'

Good Morning All.  Yesterday I overslep, so I was unable to post in the morning. Got to work, and the internet is down! Not just early in the day, but for the entire day. So, we were unable to do any work, except by hand, and I was unable to come to my favorite site. I truely hope it is up and running today.Then, by the time I got home, we had to go to a wake, got home and the phone was ringing off the wall. I really hope today is better. Paul, just keep sipping. Janet, your 6 mt checkup will go fine. Christine, have a safe trip today. My day is usual. go to work, do errands, come home and get into something. BTW.... Yesterday I wore a new empire style  top to work, I got a lot of "you look good " comments. Even people from other departments. My answer was, Thankyou, I feel good too. Hugs,

Paul, I hope you get to feeling better quickly.  I am surprised I didn't get an UTI since I had my catheter in for almost 4 days!  I am glad that you weren't dehydrated that much either.  Feel better!

Connie, where do you get your yarn from?  Jacob loves to crochet and knit and I would like to get him some for his birthday coming up. (sounds strange to say that for my almost 12 yr old son, but he loves it and is good at it too)

I had a wonderful visit with my parents yesterday and really discovered some things about me and them too.  My mom helped me clean up my kitchen a little bit and they couldn't believe how messy Mike let this house get while I have been laid up.  oh well

Today, I might go to the store with Mike to get some Benefiber and Colace because even after taking the MOM yesterday I only went a little bit.  Other than that, nothing going on around here.

I get most of my yarn at Unique Yarns in Edgebrook here in Rockford. For your son, I would probably try Michaels or Hobby Lobby. The yarn I get is on the expensive side and takes some care in using it.

I have lost 11 pounds in 4 weeks for a total of 52 pounds! I'm going for my first fill tomorrow. Hope everyone has a great day!
