Good Morning all my beautiful friends!  I am happy to say that I was able to put away two popsicles last night before bed!  Sipping stuill hurts, but I'm on the path to getting liquids down.  I think it's just a slow path.  Here's some very exciting news, it has been two days since I've had any diabetes drugs and I just checked my levels and I'm at 103!!!  Today I'm on my way to the chiropracter to get adjusted and then back home to keep resting.  And of course, sip sip sip and walk walk walk... good morning Paul, Karey, and everyone, Welcome home Paul.  I'm glad to see your feeling a tiny bit better today.  Congrats on the meds.  I love it.  I use to take a big bag of pills and a diabetic shot and now I am down to hardly anything.  Thats the best thing from surgery. Well, I think that my iron supplements are finally starting to work.  I came home Monday after work and spent a couple of hours in the yard picking up branches and making a burn pile.  I am so sore.  I didn't even think about the constant bending over as exercise, but now my legs and arms are killing me.  My energy level isn't high yet, but the fact that I came home from work and didn't hit the bed is an improvement. I could not sleep last night.  I woke up with what feels like a heat rash in between my legs.  I didn't have it there when I went to sleep.  It doesn't make since to me.  My skin is starting to get flabby and I don't know if that has anything to do with it.  I'm down 60 pounds and 4 1/2 sizes since surgery.  I really don't weigh now unless I go to the dr which isn't that often anymore (yeah!). Well, its work for me today.  I also have to send my daughters unofficial transcripts to the college.  Crazy busy month preparing for her graduation. Have a great day Illinois! ~Michelle

Good morning Paul and Illinois! Paul, it is wonderful to start getting off the meds.  Karey, I too will see the doctor today. I have a nutrition class at 1 and after that see the doc. Way to go with the pre-op weight loss! Michelle, you must be feeling better if you do yard work after working. Your energy is coming back. Keep dry everyone! Have a great day!

Good Morning Mr Paul and the rest of my IL family.

Congrats Paul, that's great that you are able to get those liquids down.  Keep it up, down...well ya know what I mean...lol

Today, Jacob is still home with me, had another fever this morning, low (just over 100) but his stomach is bugging him still too.  He's gonna have SO much homework to do, he's been out almost a week.  Our neighbor girl is going to bring it home for him today so that will help.  He's with me agan this weekend so I will help him too.
My parents are coming over too, I can't wait to see them, it's been a month since I have.  My house is a freaking disaster but I do what I can and honestly without being able to lift things yet, it's not easy.

It looks like Tyler's game will most likely be cancelled today because of the rain too.  I wasn't going to go tonight though anyway, I over did it yesteray and paid for it over night.

Have a great day everyone and stay dry!

Monica

Good Morning Paul and the rest of Illinois! I am glad to see that you are progressing well, Paul.  No medication is a HUGE reason to have had this surgery.  Good for you!!! I am working today, then home to a meat loaf that is thawing. I have to take David to Madison tomorrow morning for a CT scan and to see his kidney doctors.  Maybe, just maybe, if the test show no stones, he will be cut loose from having to go up there every 3-6 months.  We will see. Then, Friday morning, I get my upper GI.  I won't get any results until Monday afternoon though.  I am not sure if I should hope that they find something or not.  I guess I hope that they find a cause for my inability to lose weight, but that it is easily fixable.  I can dream, can't I? Not too much else going on in my world today. I wish everyone a wonderful, if rainy, day!

Tell someone that you love them!

Good morning Paul and the rest of my IL family. Not much going on with me today, but yesterday I did a stupid thing. I went to wash my car and did not think but it must have been too hot in the car because when I got the front window wet it cracked from the top to the bottom, so today it is getting a new one put  in. I told my hd sometimes I wish I was still fatter, then I would have not gotten out their to wash the car in the first place. I was so very upset with my self for doing something so stupid.  Paul glad you are able to take on more fluids now.  hope everyone has a great day.

Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!
