Lap band docs

Ok I guess I need some help here.  I have leveled off in my weight, and I haven't changed anything but ate more, which is a sign that I need an adjustment. Ok here is my problem.  My doc who put the band in me, I will never see again for multiple issues, the most prevelant one right now is he isn't practicing right now. I need to change doctors, but have no idea who to go to in the western burbs.  I am in the Oak Brook area, and again have no clue as to where I can get an adjustment.  HELP!!!!!

EBarry,  good to see ya!!! how is your little angel doing? In regards for Drs, check out those drs. who are listed under our avatars.  My dr. is Dr. Kane Jr., and he has offices in Elk Grove and Arlington Heights.  Maybe this will help. 

Hey Wendi,      Well Elk Grove Village is about 30 minutes north of me.  I was hoping for something in the Downers Grove/Elmhurst area, that is why I was asking vs. just searching.  You all have had success with your docs, and unless I hear a LOT of good comments about one, I will want to keep it close to where I am at.  Unless I work downtown (had my interview last Friday, keep your fingers crossed) then it is a totally different story, but then I would need a doc downtown.

Barry, as Christine states Dr Rosen is a great dr for lap-band. He is in Downers Grove area. I do wish you the best in you're ne doc hunt. If the cost of fuel keeps going UPPpPP I might have to get someone closer. This makes me depressed to even consider. I think the staff, Dr R and his wife are wonderful. They make you feel like you are part of a family and the door is always open. He also has his own web sight where there is a lot of great info. So I do encourge you to just check him out!

Barry, check with LifeWeigh Bariatrics in Downers. See their ad in the lower left corner. He does take on patients from other practices, however I do believe not if the person had surgery out of the country. You will be really pleased with the staff - medical, office, diet and exercise in addition to Dr Rosen. They are all a team with the patient being on top and considered a very important member of the team.  Chris

My doc is also with the Kane Group.  A terrific bunch of docs.  Many of us on the board have gone through this group. The Elk Grove office is probably closest for you.  It's right in Alexian Brothers Hospital
