HI TO ALL! I am new to the Illinois board. I was born and raised in Illinois but now live in PA.

But there is still no place like home...and Illinois will always be my home (considering I make the 1200 mile trip back and forth three or four times a year to visit my family).  I had my RNY in June of 2003 and have led a support group from 2005 to just last week. I hear that this group is very friendly. I hope that I finally get the support that "I" need and can be of help to other members at the same time.  I look forward to meeting everyone. Hi Theresa!  My family and I live in Cary (not too far from LZ or Wauconda).  It's great to have you on the board.  This is a very supportive group.  We recently had a get together and everybody was so supportive to each other!  It's mainly women, but Barry and I hold our own as the male contingent (although Barry seems to be hiding these days).  There is a strong willingness on everybody's part to give you whatever we can in the way of support!  Paul
