Thursday Roll Call

My day will be about the same as yesterday. Work  work  work  did I mention work! Really got 4 trips today all befor 3pm. I will then fix dinner take the grand kids for another walk in the garden wagon. They all 3 ride I pull. We go for a walk after 6 so the traffic clears out alot. I live in the country but, its a main road where in town there is a tractor factory. Any way we go for about a 1 mile to a 1 1/2 mile walk. There are small hills verey little flat land. My driveway is where they like for me to take them because its so bumpy. So I get a good arm work out to bulk up that SWAG I have going on these days!!!!LOL!!!! Good morning Chris and all, Its work for me today.  Yesterday was a pretty good day at work.  We all made our goal for the month, so our boss has to buy us lunch sometime.  Woohoo, we don't really get that great of perks, but we'll take what we can get. Chris, your girly day sounds like fun.  Do you dress up for tea or is it just casual? Paul, I think that no matter how confident that we are in our decision for surgery, when that day comes we all get a little scared.  Just know that we all continue our prayers for you. Good Morning.  Did Spring return during the night? We have over 50' right now, and its suppose to get to 70 today. I still may be able to get some plants in this weekend. Paul, 50 lbs in 7 months is very doable. I lost 54 ibs in 6 months, with a 2 month stall. Christine, Teas are fun. We go to one in Bloomngton around Xmas each year. Even the DGD loses them.  Happy (busy) Birthday Erin. Good Morning Janet. You always seem to stay busy too I am working today, thenI will be going and donating my money to Krogers. We donated to the gas station yesterday Tomorrow is stay home day and put a dent in the house day.Maybe Lunch with friends Day. The job is calling me, telling me it is time to move. Hugs

Dad came home with me last night from me watching him at his house.  Things are going good!  So today I have all the kids I watch and dad.  Then tonight I have a lititure fair with Maddie at her school.  We are presenting the book "Rainbow Fish".  I love that book!  After research on it, I found out that it is a very contraversal book.  People look way to deep into it! 

Paul, good luck in Mexico and we will be waiting to hear an update soon! 

I hope everyone enjoys the nice day.  The scale went up one pound this morning???  What's up with that???  Maybe I need to be drinking more water?  I changed the water filter on our fridge last night, so it will be nice knowing that I'm drinking clean water!!!  I better get going and straighten the house and kitchen before the kido's get here!

Good morning Christine and Illinois! Today the sun is shining and hopefully it will be a beautiful day. Today I'm going to my aunt's house to use her sewing machine. I need to take in a few tops. I'm not taking too many there so that I can go back again next week to keep her company for a few hours. She is lonely now that my uncle passed away. I'm hoping that my mom will join us today. Good Morning Friends!

I slept very well last night, despite having to get up to use the bathroom at 3pm!  lol   I took my 1/3 dose of pain meds and I really believed that helped.  Today I will walk more and drink more too.  It looks like a beautiful day outside too.  Tyler has a track meet tonight, but I am just not ready to sit on bleachers for 2 1/2 hours yet, he understands, but really wants me to see at least one.  It will have to be next week sometime.  Tonight for dinner the family ordered from a fundraiser the school does called, "Faye's BBQ"  I will take Jacob and Austyn to pick it up at the school, go to the bookfair while we're there and then get Tyler right away too.  Mike has to work late.  This will be my first time driving since before my first surgery. 

Other than that, nothing else exciting here, just taking things one day at a time and concentrating on getting better.  Well I am going to make a smoothie for breakfast....I am getting addicted to those.

Good morning Christine and everyone else! Happy Birthday Erin! Lucy's birthday is Monday. I am working today, then home to rustle up some dinner before the boys go to Scouts. We are getting ready for the birthdays at our house.  Liv's is Sunday and David's "golden" birthday is the 15th. Liv wants to take a few friends for pizza and a movie on Saturday to celebrate, then we may have Amber and family out on Sunday.  I think I am going to take her shopping at our favorite consignment shop for a new look.  We may have to do the shopping tomorrow night since we have so much to do over the weekend.  I also picked her up a cookbook and bracelet in New Orleans. David has not really expressed any wishes yet, so we will see what plans we wind up making.....we have all his presents ready, except for the razor that he really needs.  We decided to buy him his first razor for his birthday. This year, I am lucky because Mother's Day is between the birthdays, so I MAY get to celebrate a bit myself.....we will see. I wish everyone a splendid day!

Good Morning my friends! Today is a better day. I was able to eat mashed taters and ice cream yesterday and everything went well. Doc said stay on mushies for a few days just to make sure the swelling goes down. I went shopping last night for new jeans and got 14's... could have got 12's! such a change from 22's!
