Plastic Surgery

Had RNY August, 2000.  In need of a tummy tuck and breast lift.  United Health Care denied my request.  I now have Humana.  Has anyone  had  sucess with Humana?  Will appreciateany assistance or suggestions.

Sorry, do not have your insurance. I would suggest that you contact them and find out what the criteria is to get it covered. Your PS could also possibly write a letter of medical necessity (if it is) and try to get it pushed through for you. My husband after he had his RNY and lost 180+ got his panni covered and his insurance was not even the company that covered his WLS - mine did. His was deemed medically necessary due to the excess of 100+ lost and the massive hanging skin that he had. He never was clean due to the skin folds.  Christine
