Friday Roll Call

Well this is my last weekday at home before my surgery!  I put on one of my few remaining pairs of pants that fit and when I bent over to pick up something that fell, they split.  I've had it with this body of mine!!  If there was ever any doubt about getting banded, there's none now!  I can hardly believe that I'm only a week away.  I plan to go to the Woodstock support meeting tomorrow morning.  If anybody from the this board comes, please introduce yourself to me.  Last time I didn't recognize anybody and then read on the board that many of you were there.  I guess it's a good thing, but so many people change from their pictures so quickly!  Since I haven't really started to lose, I still look like my picture.  Anyway, I wish everybody a great weekend. It won't be long before Lucy will want to lock you up in her closet.  Regardless, Liz is a lucky woman.

I'm off to work today.  I try not to access O H at work due to our end user policy crap, etc.  We got notice yesterday that they are blocking more sites, so I'm sure this will probably be one of them.  On top of that my anti virus at work doesn't seem to update like everyone elses, so they are replacing my hard drive. 

On a personal note, my mom is in the hospital, so I ask for all of your prayers.  She has copd and pneumonia, so she just can't breathe.  Its difficult for me to live so far away (she is in TN), but I need to save my time for the worse which I know is around the corner. Nicole, my daughter is on her way to the local college today.  Its great that the school is sponsoring the field trip.  She will be signing up for her fall classes and getting a full tour.  I spent last night doing the financial papers (fafsa) as I hadn't done them yet.  She graduates next month and it only seems like yesterday that I was walking her to her Kindergarten class.  It just goes too fast. Well as I need to leave in 2 minutes and I'm still in my pj's its time to go.  Everyone have a beautiful day and don't forget your umbrella. ~Michelle

Hi Paul. Just stopping by to wish you a safe trip. I can understand how you are feeling. I tried some clothes on yesterday and was quite upset with my gain - I gained on my upper body. So I am hoping that my losses will start from the top down. That's how it happened with my RNY. Good luck with the surgery and best wishes for a speedy recovery. You'll be on the losers bench soon. I'll be checking in during my vacation if I decide to take my laptop with me. Then, it will be my turn! YAY!!! Take care! Lucy

Good morning Paul and the rest of Illinois! I am sneaking on for a rew minutes to post the roll call and recipes, then I have to finish packing and get out of Dodge. This weather really stinks as we are going to have 4 hours to kiil in the city.  Maybe we will go to North Pier.  I love the crab legs at Dick's.  The good news is that it is in the mid to upper 80's down there, so I am packing some cute sun dresses! I don't know if I will get a chance to check in on you all while I am away.  If not, I'll be back Tuesday. Keeping everyone in my thoughts and prayers....... Have a stellar (if rainy) day.

Good morning everyone! I know summer is around the corner because I hear them out mowing my lawn for the first time this year! I am so glad that it is so nice out and I had my top down on my car yesterday. No rain here yet but I guess it is coming. I am on call for work once again....good no sick kids but bad for the paycheck...guess I need a second job :( Hope everyone has a great day!!

I thought yesterday was Friday...so It is tomorrow that I'm going to Sugar Grove.  Going shopping with my MIL today.  Paul, it won't be long before your day arrives..... Good Morning  I am also heading out the door in a few minutes. We will be heading for St. Louis, to see Jersy Boys, also to spend time with my cousin and a few friends, and hopefully meet up with Dee for a cuppa coffee or something. We also want to go to the riverboat if we have time, We will be back sometimes late Sunday, but not sure if I will be able to get online.  Paul, good luck in Orlando, and Mexico. Hi all,   I am only going to post for a short minute as I am still very sore and hurt so bad. Thanks to Pam for updating you all. I had to have gallbladder out in emergancy surgery and when he was in there he nicked to bowel so I am trying to recover and not do much, I swear this hurts way worse than GBS. I never knew I could feel so bad. Thank you all in advance for your prayers and support, I will try and get on when I feel better...Love Martha

Good Morning Paul and the rest of my wonderful OH family

Boy talk about timing...I just finished watching a movie and I decided to let the dogs outside to potty....they just got back in and now it's raining!  wooho...I'm good.  lol

I am SOOO tired of feeling icky.  I know that I am getting better every day, but some days  I just feel like crap still.  I think I over did it on Wednesday night, I went to the play at the middle school with Tyler, Jacob did the lights for the play.  I didn't drive though Mike dropped us off and picked us up.

I have to admit that things around here are not good.  I am not sure what is going to happen with my marriage and life once I am completely healed. I am really trying not to stress and get upset about things because I know that can't be good for me right now.  I just don't know.
