Tuesday Roll Call

Thank you Connie! I feel better already.  That's just the way I am.....I get upset, maybe cry, then move on.  Once I know what the team's stand is, I will come up with the next plan to deal with it.  (Susan said that she would run it by the team, but thought that NUT and Psych visits were in order.) I met John at the support meeting and LOVED him!  I really do like my team, but I am frustrated that they do not take my concern seriously.  If they paid better attention to their records, they would see how hard I have been trying and how I am alsmost anal about following their protocol.  I have been questioning the slow loss and then no loss since the very beginning, and they just act like it is all in my head. I HAVE tried the NUT board here, and they are not very helpful either.  Their standard answer to almost all questions is, "please contact your program's nutritionist for detailed help".  I am not really sure WHY they chime in on the diet and nutrituion forum, as they will not answer specific questions.  It even states that in the board's rules. Thankfully, I have my Illinois group to care about me and let me vent to get it off my chest. I WAS going to ask you though.........what to the "G's" have to say about your friend that was at the meeting last night?  Please PM me, as I am interested and I didn't really get a chance to ask her.

Good Morning OH family!!!

Today I get to go to the Dr and get my staples and drain removed!!  I am so excited, but also very scared about the drain part.  It seriously looks like the skin is healed around it, and the stitch is gone...can't see it anymore, it's embedded under my skin.  I am SO nervous about having it out, but on the other hand I can't wait.  I have been feeling better yesterday and today, even though my dear hubby is ******g me off big time as is my wonderful (sarcastic) little stepchild.  That's another story though.  My sister is taking me to the Dr and then I will spend a little time at her house, until Mike can pick me up after Austyn's psych appt.

Other than that I am sure I will be tired.  I will try to post tonight about my appt, if I don't I will tomorrow!!

Can anyone tell me why it isn't taking my post in paragraph form?  Its jumbling everything I write into one big paragraph...uhggg!

 

Good morning Chris & everyone, I am off work today.  I have a list of things to complete today.  We'll see how far I get on it.  I am still working on my baking for this Sunday.  It looks like were not getting together with dh's sisters, so I am now cooking all of the dinner for us.  I spoke to his cousin and invited him and his family out for a movie, but I was afraid to invite them to dinner.  My thoughts were what if I'm too tired to do it.  My dh couldn't believe that I didn't invite them over, but once I explained my reason he understood.   Thank you Willow for the great advice about my iron supplements.  I stopped taking them with my other vitamins and started taking them with vitamin C.  While, I wouldn't say that I'm energized, I don't feel quite so run down lately. I know that were suppose to get rain today, but what a beautiful start to the day.  I purchased a lilac bush/tree last week and would love to get it planted today. Jen, my prayers are with you and your family.  Please let us know as soon as she is home. Monica, a prayer for you for no pain when that tube comes out.   Dawn, you have come a long way and I think you look fabulous, but I can certainly understand your frustration.  You certainly do have a great attitude.   Denise, how frustrating for you.  I can't begin to imagine.  The liquid diet is absolutly the worse.  While I wasn't hungry after surgery, I craved everything while I was on it.  Hang in there and before you know it Tuesday will be here. ~Michelle

Thank you Michelle, for the kind words of support. This morning, when I got a sort of "canned" response from my team, I just lost it for a few minutes.

I had that happen to me a few times last week. I think it is the site that is having the problem, not you. CB

I reported the problem and they said that I should use firefox instead of Internet Explorer.  I don't think that I have firefox and I really don't want to download something else.  Maybe it will fix its self soon.

I have found that they want to lay blame on everyone else except for themselves. I use IE all the time, here at home, work and when I am on the road and NEVER have a problem. I am with you in downloading something else. Chris

Hi Illinois!!!! Well the northern burbs might be sunny but in the central part of the state its storming. Lost the power for a couple hrs, back on now.  I have Jenn and her family in my prayers. I will pray that Monica dr appointment goes great and that she is on the mend  I say a little extra prayer nightly for all that I miss so just because I did not mention you, you are not forgotten. Good afternoon Christine and Illinois! It hasn't started to rain here yet...just came back from the park and had lunch before checking in. I'm sitting here wearing Ava's princess crown. I can do that today because it is my birthday, otherwise I cannot. She is very particular about it. Ava and Vince spent the night with me so that Jackie could go to the doctor this morning. It doesn't help that her husband is working out of town this week and when he comes home he will be going away again. Hope he gets all the long distance runs done before the new baby comes. Monica, I hope your visit with the doctor goes well. I'll be keeping anyone who needs prayers, in my prayers til further notice. Hope everyone has a wonderful day!
