Kandy....Christina is right....I told Dr. R. I was drinking diet coke before my surgery and I got a bit in trouble and he almost didn't do the surgery! They had me do a "practice diet" and I had that coke during that phase. Do exactly what they tell you and you will do fine... Pam

Good Moning Paul and the rest of IL, what a sunny day we have again today, I love it, Yesterday we went to Rockcut park and walked some trails with the dogs, and that is the frist time I have every walke any of them, we used to go just to fish and camp and I would just sit in a chair and not move any more then I had to, but not this year, my poor Jim, is was just following me around and said be carful don't fall, as before I was not very on steady on my feet, but I am doing much better with that now, and the dogs they were tried and slept most of the way home, I think I am going to love this summer and it will be the first one in a long time, Monica, dear you are having such a bad time of thing, I pray that you will feel better soon, Paul let me tell you I was the king of nothing fits anymore, Well I still am but now everything now is to BIG, and you too will have that problem , it feels good to go shopping and saying that is nice but too big, This am I have to take Kacie to the Vet, she has a knot on her ear I want the Dr. to look at, I sure hope it is nothing, and this afternoon I will be going out to my Daughter's Mother -in- law's place to see her new goats, yea I love goats, I am a animal lover of all animals. I will be coming to the Rockford group meeting tonight, so I will see thoughs of you that go to it, everyone have a great day and enjoy the Sun,

My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!

Good morning Paul and everyone! I'm still high from our party on Saturday. It was a blast. Monica, definitely call the Kane Center. I'm sorry that you are going through such a rocky post-op course. Once you get through this, it will be worth it. I called Alexian Brothers to set up my pre-op testing. So I'm on my way!! Have a wonderful day everyone. Lucy

Good morning Paul and Illinois! Paul, do not fret too much, it won't be long and you'll be undergrowing your clothes! When I told my daughter I was outgrowing my clothes she said not outgrowing....your not gaining ....undergrowing.......your losing! Monica,please contact the doctors office asap. I'm sorry that your having all these setbacks....things will be looking up soon. Isn't it nice that there are more new people joing the group? I think it's terrific. You can never have too much support. I hope everyone gets out and enjoys the sunshine today!

Good morning everyone!! had to take my dog to the vet this morning since she keeps having accidents in the house. Vet says it is prob uti since she had blood in her urine but it could be her kidneys since she is 10. Vet says she could also be starting to go senile and that dogs forget there training. She is on pills so now I have to wait and see!!
