Hi everybody!  That earthquake might just be the vibrations from me jumping for joy about going home today!  I thought I was getting on early (even for west coast time) and then I see all these posts.  It looks like all the worms have been taken by you early birds!  I am so ready to be back home.  And to see everybody at the party tomorrow.  Jennifer, my prayers are with you.  I've had three siblings who spent a good deal of their lives in and out of programs, but in the end, they are all now grown up and happy.  Well, it's off to the airport for me! Good Morning my IL family.

Didn't sleep well last night because of my back pain.  I just can't get comfortable anywhere anymore.

Today I am going to take a shower, get ready to go to Tyler's school for a presentation he's giving on the Holocoust.  It will only be a 45 min thing, but I hope I can make it through the whole thing.  I am still not feeling very good.  Food is staying down very good though and the water went great yesterday...not as much as I am supposed to be drinking but tons more than I have been.  I will try to do a little more each day.

After Mike and I get home from the school, one of my close friends is coming to see me.  I will probably fall asleep while she's here too...lol  showers and the outing are going to wipe me out I'm sure...lol  She won't mind though.

I hope everyone has a great day!!

Monica

Good Morning Jenn and the rest of Illinois! I will keep you and Serenity in my thoughts as you go through this difficult time.  I can relate.  I am sorry to see that you won't be able to make it tomorrow, but hopefully, next time. I am working today, then home to Liv.  The boys are camping for the weekend, so it will just be me and her.  I'm thinking of picking up some Chinese for dinner. I was on the stationary bike when the quake hit this morning and I didn't feel a thing.  First I heard of it was on the radio coming into work. I will be making the raspberry pie and stuffed mushrooms tonight so that I am all ready for tomorrow. See you all then!

Tell someone that you love them!

Happy Friday!

I slept through the earthquake too. Oh well, I've lived most of my life somewhere near the New Madrid fault and I've never felt any of the earthquakes.

More moving business at the office today. I'm already sick of it and have another week or more to deal with. Thank goodness for a few distractions like the party tomorrow and the trip to Door County next weekend! Do I feel guilty for missing the actual move? Not at all!

I will miss being online then, though. I don't think there is any wireless anywhere near where I will be. That's the point of a vacation anyway--don't do the things you do at home!

Good afternoon everyone.  I missed the quake as well.  I just don't feel them unless they are a 5.5.  I used to live in Tokyo so I have been through a lot (3,000 in one weekend).  From what I heard, this quake was a roller, not a shaker.  The shakers are the worst kind, the rollers do a lot less damage. I did weigh myself this morning, and I am not a member of the century club.  I didn't lose those 2 tenths of a pound.  Not a single one of them (Kim, yes I did go potty beforehand).  I will be down at least a pound next week, so I break the barrier soon.  I will do an unofficial weigh in tomorrow to see if I hit it.  I can't wait to get my regular desk and chair back.  I do miss them so as my butt goes numb on this wooden chair and small desk I have where I am at for the time being.  On that note, my butt is numb, so I need to walk! See you all tomorrow!
