Friday Roll Call...

Happy TGIF Everyone... It may seem I have been MIA... I have been lurking when I can... I have been keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers Monica I am SO happy to see you home and recovering! I won't be able to make it to Lucy's party I am very bummed about that! Serenity is not doing very well and has started at Alexian Brothers out patient adolescent program and will continue for the next 4 weeks... I got my Secret Pal gift yesterday that was nice! thank you Secret Pal! I hope everyone has a nice Friday! Blessings... Jennifer

Hi Jen..so sorry..I must have been working on my roll call post and when I went to post it..then I seen yours.  I pray for you and your family daily.  I will say extra prayers for Serenity..as well as you. When my daughter was younger she was inpatient for 3 months.  She is now grown, married with 2 children and has dedicated her life to bringing people closer to Christ.

Good Morning Jenn & IL - I started the work day off early so I can get out early.  Still have quite a few things to do before we fly out to MD this evening.  My stepdaughter turns 18 this weekend so we are having a party for her.  Please pray for Amanda.  She is a good kid but losing her Mom last year sure has made her quite  stuborn and it's her way or no way.  I guess most teens have that way of thinking but I just want to slap her w/ hopes of waking her up.  She did ask Calvin to go w/ her to her counceling appointment tomorrow mornnig so we shal see how that goes.  In the back of my head I just keep thinking this is another game she is playing. I'm really sorry I will not be at the party.  I was looking so forward to it.  Hope eveyone has a great time.  I'll be thinking about you all. Have a great Friday and a wonderful weekend. Christina

Good morning Jenn and Illinois You all are up early, did you feel our earthquake?  I did....weird how we get those from time to time?   Jenn you and your daughter are in my prayers...it's tough I know.....God will see you both thru this..... My 15 year old daughter had a hard night last night, her new boyfriend died during track practice yesterday right there at her school, they said he passed at the hospital but it doesn't seem as though that was the case.  These kids are going to have a tough day at school today even though they've called in some help for counseling.  I feel for the parents and his family....how very sad for all of them.  I am looking forward to Lucys party, it should be a very nice break! You people that can't make will be missed. Everyone have a good day Pam

Morning Illinois!  Here I was all proud rolling out of bed an hour early and thought I would be the first one to post today. LOL! I couldn't sleep so I thought I would post quick and then jump on the treadmill for a while. Trying to get motivated and get out of this slump I am in.  Still haven't received my 2nd denial letter from the insurance yet. Trying to not give up hope.  Thanks Connie for refering me to Vicki, she is going to try to help me. Paul- Sorry I didn't thank you for your kind words and support the other day. The kids were acting up and had to cut it short. Have a safe flight home today.  Wish I could make the party, hopefully we'll have another one soon that I can get to. Have a great weekend! Allison

This is just about the color of the shirt I am wearing with my khaki slacks today to work - thought I would share that, LOL. Jennifer, sorry to hear about your daughter and her needing additional help. If it is any consulation to you my sister had a difficult time with her youngest and she is now a great mom to two boys and she is going into the Navy reserves in early May. I think the kid ends up a stronger person in the long run. My niece went through the inpatient program at AMBC in EGV. So, there is hope my dear. Well, I will be getting ready for work here in a few minutes. Am going to ride my bike into work today for the first time this year. It is a little cool now but will be warmer later on. Not much going on other than work. This evening I have a Tastefully Simple party at my next door neighbors house, not too far to commute.  Need to get moving. Evidentally, it already was moving (the earth that is) a while ago as we had an earthquake about an hour ago. It was far reaching from south central IL, out by Pam S in Rockford, then into IN and possibly OH. Christine  &

good morning everyone!  i slept through the earthquake too!  i need to figure out how to add a siggy ticker to my posts.  i am trying to prepare for surgery.  i plan to take a good walk today and have beem trying to chew my food a bunch before eating.  i have a hard time not drinking during meals but need to get better with this as i have TWENTY FIVE days until surgery! woo hooo! i am soooo excited!

Good morning Jenn and everyone! I, too missed the quake. Years ago, when I first moved into my home, I experienced tremors from an earthquake that was somewhere else. I was sitting on the sofa and it felt like it was shaking and I was going to drop down or sink into the foundation. That was scary! Happened in 1986. Tomorrow is party day!! YAY!!! I got a couple of things to do to get ready. I am going to have my gallbladder out and having the lap band put in within the next month. I have to see Dr. Hart (yikes!) to get pulmonary clearance. I was so disappointed when I was told that. Now if only I could go home the same day of surgery (if I was sure I'd be OK) I would... then I wouldn't have to have the pulm consult. I see him on Wednesday. I signed the papers and paid the surgeon's fee already. So I do have a tentative date but will not disclose it here until I am 100% sure! I'll post separately about the party. Good Morning to all you Early Birds. I to felt the earth shake this morning. I was almost awake, and not sure what it was, then realized it was a tremor. I grew up on the New Madrid Fault line, and never experienced an earthquake until I was married and living up here in North Central Illinois.  Heres hoping that everyone who has to miss the party tomorrow night will be able to make the next one. You will be missed. I am heading to Rock Falls this morning to our main office. I was told to leave my house at 8, and I will leave there at about 2, to get home by 4:30.  Hopefully, the rain will hold off until this evening.  Whats everyones plans for today? Hugs,
