Tuesday Roll Call

Good morning everybody.  It's raining here in Seattle and I'm missing home.  Last night I bought a jar of peanuts and found myself eating handfulls every 5 minutes.  I feel like I have no self control.  I thought I was done with that kind of behavior.  I can hardly wait until I get my band and have a little help at resistance.  Of course my blood sugar was back up to 159 this morning.  No surprise there.  Oh well, today's a new day.  I hope everyone has a great tuesday. Typical 2 job day for me. I get to go to court with my truant 14 year old today. He wasn't really truant, the teacher locked the door in his face as the 1st bell was ringing and he became a statistic of our wonderful Mayors new system. He is an awesome kid who loves school & sports and now he is caught up in the problems of the lovely Rockford School District. Sorry about the rant. I also just found out that I have to work on Monday night and can't make it to the Rockford support group. I was looking so forward to it. I'll miss everyone! Theresa, Rockford

Unfortunately, I have I probably have to work saturday also. The new schedule isn't up yet, but there are special events on the calender and I know my boss is just spacing it. Good morning Paul and the rest of Illinois! Our internet here at work was down, so I am late posting the recipe today.....sorry. Anyway, after work, I am taking my aunt to Wal-Mart tonight.  I need to pick up supplies for my contributions to Saturday's party.  Speaking of recipes and the party:  Maybe everyone can try to bring the recipe of their dish (if there is one) so that other's can have them.  Just an idea......we try to do that when we have pot-lucks in the 'hood in Rock City. Not too much else to report at the moment. Have a tremendous sunny day all!

Good morning Paul and the rest of IL, Not much going on here today, The dogs are loving this sun shine we have been having, they want to be out side laying in the sun,  Paul you will feel in more control after your sugery and when the weight starts to come off you blood sugars should come down as well, I know for me it did and now I no longer take meds for it, have a safe trip home, and will see you Sat,

Dawn, I think that is a great idea!  I don't have any idea's because I hate to cook. 

Today I already took the puppy to the vet and am home watching the kids.  We are going to make home made paly doe today.  Of course outside, because the kids are going to do it.  This will fit in great w/ Maddie's measuring lessons at school.  Other than that, not much going on.  I just need to finish the laundry and clean the rest of the house.  Hubby and I are in HUGE fight!  He claims that I have used him for his insurance to get the surgery.  9 years of marriage 3 affairs (him..not me) does he not get it ???  And he thinks I am using him for insurance...I have to just laugh.  Like Maddie says...talk to the booty, my hand is off duty!

I hope you took him for a whole lot more than just insurance for your surgery!  Any man who has 3 affairs deserves to lose it all.  I'm not some prude, but it's just not right to cheat on your spouse.  In these days of independence and easy divorce, if you don't like the rules, get out of the game!  Not that I'm encouraging people to get a divorce.  But marriage is a sacred commitment and cheating is just plain wrong.  He owes you a hell of a lot more than just some surgery!  At the very least, he owes you an apology! 

Wow Kim, 3 affairs?!  My ex-wife (well, not officially but it is just easier to call her that) had one affair, and BAM it is over.  You have a very forgiving heart. Paul, I agree with you, he deserves to lose it all, not just some insurance.  That is pathetic.  I also won't say that divorce is easy though.  Ask me in about a year and I might say something different, but now it isn't easy.  Marriage is sacred, and the victim of a cheater, is still a victim.  Kim, if you need to talk, feel free to call.  You are better than being a victim, you have shown you aren't.  You took charge of your weight.  He owes you a lot more than an apology, he owes you respect.  Demand that.

Good morning Paul and my Illinois friends! The sun is shining and it is clear out...no rain...yeah. Just got back from a walk. I thought it was a little warmer than it was but the wind was still nippy. That's okay because I got a good walk in without feeling too sweaty. Not much on the agenda for today....I lead a dull and boring life....being unemployed helps right now because I'm finally taking care of me! I guess it is time to start looking for a part time job. I'll check out the classified today. Maybe I'll find something soon. Have a great day today and tomorrow hopefully will be better.
