My day yesterday
Here is my day yesterday! I am so sorry that I couldn't see Monica but as you will see I just never got a chance...I was on call today but I am working Sunday 11a-11p so I think I will just go in early to see her so if someone could PM her room number I will try and stop by. I may work days tomorrow also so if I can will stop and see her.
B-scrambled eggs from cafeteria at work---OMG what a mistake!!!!!!! I haven't felt that sick at all since surgery. I was in my patients room and all of a sudden I had to run to the bathroom to puke......that is also the first time I have since surgery. I was able to work but I couldn't even drink water for at least 3 hrs...then I got busy and couldn't eat any lunch...finally at 3 I was able to drink a protein drink I brought and was too busy to get dinner so I had to wait til I got home. My pouch was still feeling iffy so I just had some cottage cheese.......I was able to get some crystal light and water but only about 40 oz total of protein and water....I work 12 hr days in the PICU so I am glad I got the protein bullets in the mail today and acheive ones so at least I can try and drink something,
That was my first 12 hr day so I hope the next one goes better. I was supposed to work today but its slow so I was on call.

Hi Glenda, sounds like you had a hectic day yesterday ! I cant imagine puking at work ! Its got to be hard doing the long shifts and trying to get in the right amt of protein, h2o etc... On a VERY bright and happy note... it looks like you are almost to ONDERLAND !!!! Thats awesome !
