Good Morning All!  Today I start a two week trip for business.  I'm off to Los Angeles and then Seattle.  Hopefully, itwill pass like lightning.  I don't mind the travel, but I hate having to eat all my meals at restaurants.  The good news is that after this, I will have one more trip to Orlando and then it is time for my surgery!!!  I will get to see my oldest friend and his wife while I'm in LA.  We talk all the time, but we only get to see each other about every 5 years or so.  So it should be fun.  I'll be bringing my laptop, so I'll still check in every day.  Have fun everybody.  It looks like its suppose to be a nice day.       Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!

Good Morning Paul , Janet, and the rest of Illinois. Paul, what kind of work do you do? Janet, isn't it nice to have more energy, so you can work outside, besides showing what 100 lbs less does for you. Its back to work for me also this morning. I love my 3 day weekends, but they go by so fast I have to call my oldest today and wish her happy birthday. She was born 4 days before my 21st brithday. It should be a nice day, but the clouds are coming back in. Hope everyone has a great day. Hugs Lisa

Good morning everyone! Had a good weekend..Yesterday we took the dog to the park for a long walk and was fun for all of us. Still getting used to eating real food. Went to Outback and got a kids meal with steak and sweet potatoe and went very well. Took me as long to eat mine as BF took for his whole meal and I only ate about 1/3 of mine. Hope to see Monica this week since I will be at the hospital. Going to personal trainer today 10 then maybe work 3p-7p Have a great day everyone and a safe trip Paul.

Good Morning Paul, and the rest of IL! Please travel safely Paul.  I also wish you a speedy trip and a great time with your friend. Carol, I am keeping you in my thoughts and prayers for an uneventful surgery and a speedy recovery tomorrow. We had a great time at our cookout and fire on Saturday.  So great a time that I stayed up WAY too late and was lazy all of yesterday.  Oh well......a lazy day once in a while is OK.  We really did have a blast.  All the neighbors were there and more friends that aren't neighbors. We got Liv signed up for Girl Scout camp and she is looking forward to that. Work today, and thinking of Monica.  I do hope things get resolved for her soon.  This is a BIG bump in the road for her and I wish there was more I could do to make it less of a burden. Have a spectacular day all!

The sun is shining but its cold. It is supposed to warm up though. Today for me its get the house cleaned up, get laundry done and then do my exercises.

I did have a great WOW moment this morning though. People I have coffee with every morning was cutting done WLS in general. When one of the older ladies looked at me and said you have really lost weight you're legs are getting smaller. I stated I am down close to 75 pounds and have went from a size 22 pants to a 12. It felt great to be noticed. I have not shared with this group or any one in town that I have had the lapband done.  I might someday but for now I don't feel its the time.  I have heard them say bad things about getting WLS done. So for now its my secret!

Monica will keep you in my prayers!!!

Have a great week Illinois

Good evening Illinoisans! I have been reading but not posting for a while--too many workshops and too tired but this week looks kind of normal for a change, so maybe I'll be posting more.

Good news about Monica finding the computer. Good luck with the doctor and good luck also to those having surgery soon. We are looking forward to the party on the 19th!

well it is very late/early now.  I have been having major network issues that I think I have finally figured out, so I am back.  Today (4/7) was my 35th birthday.  It was a good day and I ate terrible.  I went to the White Sox home opener, and tailgated for hours before the game started.  It was a blast and I had a great day.  It is always good when your team wins. Paul, I hope you have safe travels, and Monica, it was great to hear from you, your OB fix is in, just what the doctor ordered. Ok that is it for me, time to go to bed.  Night all!
Barry
