Looking for WLS support group McHenry?

Hi ya,   I'm looking for a WLS support group near me I live in the Island Lake / Wauconda area and am trying to find something close by. I think I need to be around folks focused on their weight loss goals and a great atmosphere.

Hi!  I went to a great support group this morning at the Centegra Medical Center up on Route 14 in Woodstock.  The meet on the second monday evening of the month and on the 4th saturday of the month (10 - 12:00).  It was a great group and they were very supportive.  I plan on going back!

Hi! My name is Jules and I also attend the support group through Centegra.  Here is the link to the calendar for the group http://centegra.org/EventsClasses.asp?PageID=EVC000047  Anyone interested can also give me your contact email and names and I can forward them to our group leader, she always sends a reminder email to everyone on her list of when group will meet, and any special events.  I know our group schedule for May is a bit goofy because of Memorial Day. My email is [email protected] You can attend our group even if you have not had your surgery at Centegra, and you can attend group even if you have not had surgery yet, but would like to get together with other people who have had the surgery and have questions.  We are also holding a clothing exchange on April 26, feel free to bring clothes that no longer fit you, and you can buy items for only $1 each, all proceeds go to fund our group parties/activities throughout the year!  I hope this helps :)
